Of course. A ton of people are bothered by meaningless things.

Never mind that Mikey spent all of his life in a sewer with his only education being in Ninjitsu with the rest coming from maybe TV.

Or maybe it's just a silly joke on Mikey being kind of dim witted and child like. But no, it's a problem that must be solved because it bothers people that the turtles aren't a band of mary sues.

Also anybody notice that Mikey has both his nunchucks intact after Leo uses his Katana to cut the chain from his kusarigama. That's of course if his kusarigama is separate from his nunchucks but I thought they converted from his chucks.

Awww!!! Just saw this chapter! So nice!!!!

Is maybe April in the Lair without Splinter knowing about it!???? ...Maybe the guys invited her to home without Splinter´s permission!!

I like a lot this little lovely Michelangelo....I think If all of them are 15 years old, Mike looks like the rol of little brother with 11 or 12!.... he is so naive and good heart! He also defeated Bradford in a brave fight!!!!

Also I like a lot brotherly moments, like Leo touching Mike's head when they rescue him, and Raph did the same thing at the end.....He is the little brother and Raph was actually so worried when he understood Mike was in trouble!

So funny the Leo and Raph secret code with fingers! !

Adding nice ninja fights in the shadows! Awesome!

Also I cant wait for next chapter: First one seems to me more focussed in Origin, then about Leo,then about Raph, then Mike and I guess next one will be more focus in Don!!

If anyone has any pics of Chris and Xever, I'd greatly appreciate it.

You're right about not all Brazilians being black, though they are the majority. The last census in 2010 had Brazil's population at 51% black, just over half.
Yes, i noticed that brazilians from one city have a different accent compared to another cities in Brazil, actually that happens in my country and for sure, in many other countries too.

When I heard Xever, believe me, i never thought of him being a guy from latin america nor other country... i was just busy enjoying the episode

Finished watching this episode last night was great. But Mikey is starting to get on my nerves again wish they would tone him down a little and he really isn't that dumb is he.

I kind of like him. I'm not being bias because I like the new show, I like his fighting moves and how he carries a blade (which is very rare now a days, because I don't know about anybody else, but I haven't seen a villain carry pocket knife or use it in a threatening way in a while) which actually IMO is sort of a nod to the 1950's, where people with leather coats, greasy hair, tight jeans and plane white shirt would carry.
the joker in the dark knight did carry 'nothing in his pockets but knives and lint'...I like him, too I must say...his fighting technique is fun and newto me and he doesn't appear to be stupid at all I think, but to me chris bradford wishes that xever was...I feel that this cold be his oppinion beyond 'I hate that inferiour little street thug'..remember you have to posess the smarts and the muscle to be succesful on the streets of new york...

I can forgive his naivety about humans and the "outside world", but some of the things he says and does are just plain stupid.

My only quibbles echo those of others, namely that Shredder somehow knew that Hamato Yoshi now went by the name "Splinter" (although that could have been Yoshi's nick-name in the same way that Splinter refers to Oroku Saki as "Shredder") and April's rather awkward inclusion in the scenes in the lair. I would have liked April's introduction to Splinter and the lair to be show on-screen.

And they really need to address the ongoing search for April's father and the discovery of The Kraang's plans, even if it is a throw-away line. Sure, I don't expect April to be distraught ALL the time, but sitting around an abandoned subway station reading magazines seemed a little too chilled to me.

Episode 3 indicated that April had been doing some research into The Kraang by herself since she sent the turtles to the warehouse, so they could have at least shown her and Donatello at work on his computer trying to figure out a pattern to The Kraang's movements or researching the corporations which owned the warehouses from which The Kraang operated or even just trying to learn more about the mutagen.

Anyway, they're all rather minor quibbles for an otherwise enjoyable episode.
wait a minute, why is that dumb?he is a humanoid turtle, the ability to walk on his hind legs, think and articulate alone is more than gold, compadre!where should he know how to correctly spell? he has no school eductaion...and we don't know if splinter has tought them to read or if tehy learned that for themselvs etc...

I liked many things about this episode. Many things.

I'd like to see a more developed/serious tone in the story lines, but perhaps this series is not meant to be as dark as 2K3, and that's okay too. The turtles more than make up for that. I don't care if Michelangelo is on the naive side, he's still a badass ninja that happens to make the occasional poor choice - growing up is a learning curve.

great episode. I did feel that it lacked build up, and I wish the foot ninjas had been a little more formidable. In 2k3 (I'm watching it right now for the first time) the turtles pretty much took them apart like they were nothing also, and that turned out okay...

I really liked the turtles being ninjas, something they didn't do a whole lot of in 2k3. They way their eyes whited out while in serious mode was awesome.

I'm not crazy about Splinter's design, but his character more than makes up for it. Is there any speculation what his staff is made out of? It looks like green glass or something...

Hell yeah, I am. But that's because I'm such a Leo fan and can't wait to see what happens to him in said episode.

Anyone else notice the posters behind the turtles when they first fought the Foot? The person looked a lot like OT April.

I was surprised to see a 6.7 star rating for this episode on IMDb, considering that most everyone on this forum seems to call it their favorite to date. Maybe IMDb just hasn't caught up yet.
