Not sure if anyone has posted pictures. I picked up the 4 ooze turtles and they're pretty terrible. I did like the heads though and bought them to swap with the original bodies. I saw a Leo swap a few days ago but haven't kept up with the thread so heres a shot of all 4 with the newer, more toon accurate heads.

Spoiler:
Nice, it looks good to me. If only you had the new bodies with TV accurate feet.

In the Toy Fair 2013 thread, there's figures with accurate feet, though I like the original ones better myself.

And those heads look really great. Are they stable? Any wobble at all? Thanks.

Technically I suppose the bodies look the same, but check out the feet. And the legs look longer.

I can't even figure out what's going on with this. Are they re-releasing the basic figures with cartoon feet? That's messed up. They don't match the rest of the figure.

They're super tight. In fact I had to dremmel out Leo and Donnie a bit to even get them to fit.

Thanks for the pic. Are these out? Are they the regular figures in the cases with the ooze turtles?

As far as I know there's no word yet. I'm hoping this is just a prototype without a final head or body.

Unfortunately, it seems they are all like that. Another user made an entire thread just to rant on it. It's pretty terrible, so I'm not getting the pop up Shredder Lair either...

The bodies are also very smooth now, all the cool textures have been taken away...

Don't the 2012 Toy Fair figures have these feet? As in, the figures that go for $250+ on eBay, and are packaged in a nice box?

Maybe these are just playmates "display" figures that they use, and they are still just using the same figures since last year...

Cool picture, but I think I know why Nick may be releasing turtles with the actual toed feet this time. Honestly, I love the Ooze turtle headsculpts, but the paint job does not match with the bodies. Not to mention, their heads are not as detailed as the original ones.

I don't know what to do. I collect action figures to have in their own form. But sometimes you guys are never happy, that you feel the need to customize them. What do you think I should do? I want cartoon accurate turtles, but I'm happy with how these figures were made. Still, do I risk buying other ones to give them eyeballs? Do I repaint them? I'm a bit stuck on this one.

Someone mentioned earlier that these are probably going to be storage she'll turtles in the smaller scale you can see an open shell to the left of Mickey in that pic

They'e not calling them anything....they're just re-releasing them with accurate feet. Toy companies do this all the time.

For what can be seen on the video, I believe they're Storage Shell Turtles in the basic line scale.

the smoothness is a lot more toon accurate.

its so odd. since these bodies will be "in addition" to the regular line, i wish playmates would have put the toon accurate heads on them. whats the point of finally making a toon accurate set of turtle bodies with the same ol' heads and giving the toon accurate heads to the sewer ooze patrol...or whatever they are called. it just doesnt make sense. i still prefer the original turtles, but it is cool to get a set of toon accurate figures.

Wow I totally missed the "show accurate basic turtles" -- I thought the people saying that were talking about the mini figures.

I know there's a big demand for the show-accurate feet (as well as more show-accurate heads) but I totally love the first wave figures, something about how they seem to be channeling the 1988 basic figures so perfectly really resonates with me. I would not change them at all.

But... having said that... yes I will get these new ones too ^__^ But they should have done new head sculpts to accompany the new feet... :/

I would love that... but it just further reminds me I need to get off my butt and get the large storage shells before they discontinue them

But they're usually renamed as well. "April II", Kamen Rider Decade - Violent Emotion... you get the idea.
