tim's mutation was unsettling which made me nervous, i never get this kinda feel in a kid's show at all..

I just find him straight up nasty....I feel bad for him....

but Donnie said over and over again...don't do it....

he should of touched an animal first....maybe he would have turned out differently.

That's why I said that Donatello should have explained how being mutated works. I believe all he said was that it's dangerous. Timothy would need to know just what makes it so dangerous. Just like with a kid. Then if that's not enough, then perhaps a spanking is in order. Sadly, that spanking ended up coming in the form of a wicked nasty mutation.

It never occurred to me that it was meant for laughs, and I'm not so sure it was. All I did was throw my hands up in the air, sighed, and might have thought something along the lines of "why did you have to do it?".

Wow, did not see that coming!! I thought he'd be Newtralizer too. I mean with the naming scheme it just made sense. What a horrible/awesome surprise.

I feel for this guy too. I never hated Pulverizer like some do... sure he was an idiot, but his heart was in the right place. He wanted to be a hero, he was just too dumb and lazy to pull it off. What a tragic end to his character. Don will surely build him some appendages and he'll start moving around (and maybe engineer a way for him to talk). The whole episode was some great character development for Don over all.

On a side note, Don promises that he'll "find a way to change him back." Wonder if this means we might see some sort of de-mutagen in the future?

That part got me, it was the horrible realization moment. There is something very accurate about how they are depicting the characters. That moment of, it's too late I screwed up is something most of us can relate to.

I believe if they want to further develop the characters this moment will have a profound impact on how they handle the humans who enter their lives.

As for your comments - I'm not surprised you mentioned this. Obviously, Leo doesn't like Pulverizer. Also, what do you expect? He's a teenager. Some teens act like jerks now and then. It doesn't mean he's jerk forever.

Yes, Leo and Raph especially are like that in the regard that they act very self-assured and cocky at times. They act like teens at times, as they are teens. Doesn't mean both of them are complete jerks...

Well with everything going on, Donnie probably felt he didn't have time to go into those details. He probably figured telling him it was dangerous should have been enough. Man poor guy. Really can't wait to see how he develops as Mutagen Man.

You know, it sort of tied into Splinter urging them to learn to use each other's weapons...he knew that one day they'd be in a hard spot and need to learn to defend themselves with anything instead of being so stuck on their weapons of choice...he didn't go into it in detail, but was trying to make them heed his warning...I actually thought they'd play that up a bit more...but maybe I'm reaching...

I know that in the older days, most shows had to work within a certain limit of how many different voice actors could have speaking roles in a single episode. Maybe it's a voice actors' Union thing? Could have something to do with that.

Liked the idea where Splinter made them switch weapons, then takes their weapons away. That gives me an idea for a fanfic!
