I dunno I thought it was a nod myself, but maybe it was just coincidence. What would've been funnier is if the other three struggled but Donatello found out that he was a natural with the sais.

No, but Don used Raph's sais in the 2k3 episode that featured the same idea.

pretty cool that in the last ep, the same comic featuring a "mutagen man" (that Powder pointed out in the 2nd post of this thread) showed up again when Mikey talked about using it as a weapon. (The scene can be seen above in snakeweed's current sig). A nice foreshadowing to the real mutagen man making his debut later in the episode.

ok yeah so obviously Chris Bradford is based on Chuck Norris, and could Baxter Stockman be based on this guy?
...I remember him in Superman 3 some sort of comic relief bad guy computer genius which is pretty much what Baxter is in this series. Definitely the one who came to mind when i saw Baxter for the first time!
