Shredder Cast? Sounds like Col. Schrader - Page 8

That guy is just a bit actor. At most he would have a Tatsu type role with the Foot.

I was the one who spotted him. He has only been seen in the military gear. I have seen him in several different tv series/movies. It is him. Trust me, he won't be playing The Shredder. As someone said, probably more like a Tatsu type character.

Is anyone else worried the movie will focus more on some sort of love/hate romance between April and Vernon that will kinda/sorta guest star the Turtles too? We already went that route before with Bay and Fox....

It's weird. I absolutely expect a love story of some sort, just because it's a movie. But there's such an age gap between those two, I almost still expect to hear about Casey Jones.

Gosh. I'm just so in limbo when it comes to my feelings with this movie. I really don't want this actor to play Shredder. I really don't want there to be a Schrader. I really like the actor. I'd be okay with him as Baxter. I'd LOVE Baxter as the lead villain. I don't know what to feel besides, most realistically, false optimism...

Edit: maybe misplaced optimism is more accurate.

I really don't see the point of ruining a brilliant bad guy just to make him a general, I've not read the leaked script but imagine shredder is trying to capture the turtles for some military tests to make some sort of army, as we see in other films. Yet shredder is such a great character that needs no messing with. I hope they just stick with the comics, if it ain't broke.

You make it seem like they already have plans to, but there's no chance. April is in yellow, Vernon is there, Irma is rumored, elements of the leaked/scrapped script have been confirmed to make it past the re-write, we have a general idea of what we're getting (I think, anyway) and the comics ain't a part of it. Believe me, I would love a comic based movie as much as the next Mirage fan, but it ain't happenin'.

It's never going to happen. Everything but the comics is so much more popular than the comics. It's a unique comic property, in that respect.

Thankfully, for myself, I found the first live action film to capture the spirit of the Mirage comics pretty damn well.

Ugh! I had no idea who he was until I saw his picture. I probably know him best as Col. Willie Sharp from Armageddon, but have never really been a fan of his and think he would make a terrible Shredder. Random military guy? Sure. But it sounds like they have more in store for him than that. hmm...
