My biggest qualm with the picture is that it's Megan Fox as April. ARGH! I can't stand her. She's not hot. And everything that I've seen or heard about her tells me that she's as dumb as a box of rocks. Transformers Dark of the Moon is my favorite of the three films just by virtue of her not being there.

Agreed, but my biggest problem is I don't feel like I'm looking at April.

I just feel like Megan Fox is in the movie as a friend of the Turtles. Its like its not April to me. They should just rename the character Megan Fox and introduce April in a sequel as a lab scientist or something.

I've accepted her as April O'Neil. She may not be who I think of when I think of "April" (That will always be Judith Hoag), but that is who she is, regardless.

We can all sit here and complain about her but, it is what it is she is April and that's how its going to be! I am not going to judge her on her performance until I see the movie.

Can't really judge her till I see her in the film and I don't have anything against her but she isn't the worlds greatest actress and does not strike me as an April O'Neil. She and Michael Bays involvement both have me concerned. God forbid a TMNT version of TFOTM.

Hopefully she wont be wearing it too much in the actual movie.

At the end of the day only one version of the character ever perpetualy wore yellow it and it wasn't even the original. It's a nice nod to a a big part of pop culture fad that happened over two decades ago but one or two scenes is as far as it should go.

Even than OT April stopped wearing yellow in the last 3 seasons.

So what if she keeps it on? I don't think the dramatic weight of the story will be impacted much by it staying on her. You don't want it there because it reminds you of what this movie is basing itself partially, if not completly, on. Nothing more. Pretty stupid thing to get worked up about.

You mean the season noone knows or cares about? Gotcha. No seriously, apart from the hardcore TMNT fans on this forum, any time I play a Red Sky DVD for anyone I know (and they were big Turtle fans in the day) didn't know it existed.

Hell, I was a big TMNT fan and didn't know it existed til I joined this place. I watched the show religiously, but at least where I lived, it got cancelled during the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon era. And then they cancelled cartoons in general on that station since they wanted educational programming instead of saturday morning cartoons. Honestly to think that TMNT somehow broke the ol Shredder and Krang mold and made THREE MORE SEASONS just boggles the mind. I wonder where the hell I was when all of this happening.

I watched those episodes as they aired on CBS. I was only 10 at the time and saw them all.

I totally missed the Red Sky era, the first time around, too. Except, I know where I was.

That is not an excuse! I was a big fan of both Power Rangers and Pok'emon and yes my PR fandom crossed over with my TMNT,which proved to be my biggest as its the one I never left! PR was my #2 to TMNT#1! I left PR fandom just over a year before I got into Pok'emon.

The Red Sky was a great concept that was executed poorly. The marketing was also poor as the time slot was cut in hlaf and the time changed without the internet and DVR to locate the time it was airring. No commericals or anything like CBs was asking it to leave the air just like how Cartoon Network treated JL/U at its end. If you see just how great that brief eight episode run of Shredder and Titanus was and then CBS suits meddled with it to keep up with PR adding two franchise least favorties and removing two staple sets of characters. I wish we had an extended season 8. Ninja Turtles heaven!

Its not a deal breaker. If she's wearing it through most of the movie then its a minor annoyance at best but its worth voicing. Its not like anyone criticizes the other live action features because Judith Hoag or Paige Turco didn't wear yellow when the jump suit look was actualy relevant.

As for reminding me its on the Fred Wolf show? I'm still holding a metaphorical twenty on the table that there is only a few superficial elements from that show in this and anyone expecting a modern but faithful take on the '87 show will be in for a rude awakening.

I doubt its anything like the cartoon other than April being a reporter, which is the same thing the first movie did.

The Foot aren't robots, there probably is no Technodrome or Bebop/Rocksteady, etc. Krang might be in it, and maybe fly-Baxter, but that's it.

I was obsessed with both of those things, too, but I'm afraid I just had one obsession at a time. What can I say? They all hit before I was 10.

I'm not counting out anyone. Abby Elliot and Daniel Bernhardt's names didn't get out until they were spotted on set. And we only have pics or video from scenes shot on the streets on NYC. So there's no telling what characters could be indoors, or on sound stages - especially if they're no name actors.

I liked to pretend was Green Ranger II, the greatest ally of the TMNT. I was 2,6, and 11 going on 12 when I entered the respective fandoms. I guess some juggle multiple while others find it preferable to appreciate one at a time. We just did it differently. You came back to the best of the three and the end anyway so its cool. I am just giving you a hard time since my fandom crossed over and always perferred TMNt to anything.

Who is Daniel Bernhardt playing? First I have heard of this casting and I am also not familar with him like I am the vastly underrated and gorgeous Abby.

Yeah, I did come back! I drifted from Power Rangers sometime after the movie, but before Kimberly was replaced by the blonde. They lost me with all that ninja stuff. It was like the movie wasn't canon somehow, and the show had this ninja quest thing to get from A to B. I dunno. I lost interest.
I still play the Pokemon games though

#2 in this rendition of the Foot Clan perhaps? i will look him up!

I go through phases playing Pok'emon. I bought Diamond in the Springo f 2009 two year after release onl got White three months ago. I set up a thread in the video games section asknig for suggestions if you would head over there I would appreciate it. Pok'emon wise I am most proud of Leaf Green(my fave).

We already know Vernon is in the film and the Technodrome and Bebop/Rocksteady were in the leaked script.
