Hey everyone!
Sup'?
Yet another turtle fan here. I've been hanging around for a few weeks, lurking, and decided to actually register. The name's Anna, I'm 18 and from Finland. My turtle fanhood has been a little bumpy. I grew up with the 2k3 series and back then I was pretty much an average viewer and a casual fan. Back in '09 my interest in the green team grew after I watched the series again for nostalgic reasons. My life was kinda hectic at the moment, so I got sidetracked. About a month ago I saw Blacknerd's (awesome dude, by the way) comments on the Nick version of the series and decided to check it out. I must say I was more than pleasantly surprised! Heck, I could say it's better than the 2k3 adaption, in my opinion. Now I'm really interested in becoming a real fan so I've been reading the original comics and watching some of the OT episodes. I would really love to continue on the comics, but don't really know where I should start... Any suggestions? I guess I'll see you on the forum, dudes! |

Hello, Finlander. There can be only one... or so I'm told... which makes me wonder about all the other Finlanders we've had here over the years.
Why do you talk American so good? O_o

Welcome. Swing by the comics section, there's a few threads about how to start and continue with the comics.

Welcome! The first couple mirage issues are a must, and the "City at War" arc is my personal favorite.

No matter. I'm not here to argue with anyone, especially over such stupid things! I just want to be able to enjoy being a fan, that's all. Thanks, dude! I don't really know. I guess I just watched a lot of TV in English as a kid and it's become gradually better with time. That would explain the american accent. Quote:

I've heard of it, but yeah... I don't think it's my generations thing really. Depends on the person and how they were raised, though. Some are familiar with the classics, some are not.
