I checked the Schedule and there is no movie panel for this movie, only Playmates toys, IDW comics and Nickelodeon cartoon are confirmed.

Kevin Eastman will be in the IDW Panel, I'm sure somebody from the audience will ask him a question about the movie.

Like I would like someone asking him question like, Has hes seen any footage? Usually someone from the studio would invite the creator of a comic to check out some early footage they shot recently. I also would like to know if they hired any well known fight choreographer?

What makes me scratch my head is how Viacom who own's the property are allowing TMNT to have absolutely ZERO continuity between the movie, the comics, and the toon.

Like what If Michael Bay did Star Wars Episode? Would they allow Darth Vader to NOT be Lukes Father or a fallen Jedi?

The ONLY way they can make this turd shine is if Oruko Saki is played by an Asian actor, get burned/disfigured and Fitchner plays and voices Shredder in costume only.

FYI Fitchner was incredible as a paycho cop in Strange Days

I'm in total agreement about this Viacom thing. They don't seem to really care if these things have anything to do with each other. I guess I am okay with that, as I love both the IDW comic and the new Nickelodeon cartoon, but it is surprising.

I don't see what the big deal is with that. It SHOULD be that way.
The old toon/movies/comics were separate, and the same can be said of 2k3/vol. 4/TMNT. It gives every crowd something to like.

Oh yeah lets tell them we don't want ther dirty money and that we would like our movies to be totally un appealing ot the rest of the world and make no money that'll teach em'.

William's tumblr posted that and said that he loves that everyone is referring to him as Shredder. Seems like he really enjoyed playing it.

I think he'll nail it. He's a great actor when it comes to manipulation and other devious traits. Which is what Sach's is all about.

Fitchner doing NO martial arts is fine with me - that doesnt mean that the Shredder doesnt fight. Id rather leave the stunt work to professionals who know what they are doing, and leave Fitchner to the theatrics.

You know what's funny though, the Silver Samurai was a Japanese man and The Wolverine did the best in China out of all foreign counties. So I don't get the whole we have to make Shredder white to appeal to Chinese audiences thing.

Why would Shredder being Japanese offend the Chinese anyway? Neither country are exactly bros.

Then again, Shredder being used for a role Agent Bishop could easily be worked into is idiotic anyway.

Not to mention Hollywood usually whitewash heroes of color. But now they're whitewashing the villains?

I don't think its that deep. Bay and fitchner are friends and that's likely why he got the role. Same reason why megan fox is april o'neil they have an existing relationship with the producer.
