Goodness, the article said Feldman has only done two episodes at this point. He's not going to be a permanent 5th Turtle.

Depends how far into the new season they've recorded though. If they're only recorded up to episode 7-8, then Slash appearing in two episodes is something major.

Also we don't know when Slash is actually introduced, whether it be the first few episodes or further into the season.

The original article on Feldman from early December 2012 said he had recently been in the studio. It's now July and he's only done 2 episodes. 2 episodes over 7 months doesn't sound like a permanent character to me.

It's obvious they won't make him a permament 5th Turtle. Let's just enjoy the eps he's in. I can see a lot of 'used to be a pet' jokes. Like 'wow, so THIS is pizza? And all you've giving me is leaves. You've been holding out man!'

My one problem with this now is that they are releasing kid versions of the Turtles as toys. So that would say the Turtles took time to grow into their current state. Now Spike is going to go from pet to giant mutant in no time? Hmm.

The caption under his picture on the Nick site makes it sound like he's not going to be an ally / friend of the Turtles.

They were babies before they mutated, he was an adult

Anyone else not a fan of Slash's Design? His tiny head is disproportionate to his body.

At first I was kind of, "Meh" about it, but it doesn't bother me so much anymore.

I guess my only complaint is he looks nothing like spike. They better explain that that particular mutagen was extremely unstable or whatever.

At least the head design is better. I really hope he looks like that in the show.
As Coola has said, my problem is that he doesn't look anything like Spike.
