I'm thinking more and more that Kirby is possibly being controlled by the Kraang since they intended for Don to rescue him like that. I just don't get why Don wouldn't be a little bit suspicious, especially as he had so much trouble hacking into a Kraang system in "The Gauntlet" yet he was able to hack into one in this episode. Seems a little suspect to me.

Don makes a comment at one point about how it was almost too easy for him to find where they were holding Kirby. It was obvious at the end of the episode that Kirby is under some sort of mind-control.

You mean like Kraang Prime, who will be in the season finale?

This episode was pretty awesome! So happy to finally be back in the main storyline and maybe tying up some loose ends soon. Can't wait for the finale!!

He is. In some shots you can spot the robotic chip/device thingy that is attached to the back of his neck.

I rewatched Rise of the Turtles and Kirby's neck is normal. So he hasn't always been a robot.

I also say brainwashed because the Kraang even state that it was a planned escape, and I believe the device on his neck is not only to brainwash him but to lead him to the Turtles' Lair so that Shredder can infiltrate it.

Oh I thought that the name "Kraang Prime" was for the planet of the Kraang. Ok so if it's their leader I'm glad then!

(was the creature in the 87 series named Kraang or "Krang"? because in French it was just "Krang" so I'm not used to the double A)

Just fin watching this fantastic. Guess Don didn't pay much attention to the fact that it was to easy getting Kirby out becuse he had April on his mind.
