New Smash Bros for 3ds and Wii U

Karate Joe from Rhythm Heaven is my new #1 want for a character.

There has to be some Rhythm Heaven love in this one. I understand them keeping it light in the last Smash, because by that point Tengoku had come out on the GBA in Japan years before, but there have been two acclaimed games released in the series since Brawl.

Oh, man. Why didn't I think of Rhythm Heaven!? More psyched than ever.

I think there are enough Mario characters.

The only addition from that franchise I'd be totally fine with would be Waluigi and that's strictly personal bias talking.

They need to get their sh*t together and make Luigi his own character and not a Mario clone before they do ANYTHING.

No more Mario characters, especially not sh*tty ones like Bowser Jr.. I too would make an exception for Waluigi, but I know that's a ridiculous notion.

I think Luigi needs the Poltergust. If he doesn't at least get that and a Final Smash that isn't total sh*t, I'll be disappointed.

One thing I haven't seen a lot of talk about is Assist Trophies. I think those were one of the coolest things in Brawl, so I hope they keep it and expand the list as much as possible. Orbulon and dancing space rabbits plz!

Also, a Nintendoland stage would be pretty cool. I felt the stages in Brawl were kinda lacking in comparison to the old stuff. I disliked the majority of it, so I hope they put more work into that aspect of the game. I'd like more creative stuff like the WarioWare stage.

I will put what I want into a neat bullet format:

• I want Ganondorf to not be a clone
• Just Fox for Star Fox
• Bayonetta (for the lolz)
• Shulk from Xenoblade
• Little Mac
• Luigi to have the Poltergust
• Costumes and skins instead of colors

The only other Mario character I can see being playable is Toad, only because he's iconic to the franchise. Even if he's a Peach move. They're probably going to add Dixie Kong as well, there were sound files for her in Brawl and she's playable in DKC:TF.

Most franchises are done at this point with the most iconic characters, hence why some franchises like Kirby and Starfox won't get any new characters.

For Metroid the only option they really have is Ridley.

Sakurai has wanted Samurai Goroh to be playable since Melee, but since F-zero is such a low-tier franchise now (its been an entire decade since F-zero GX in 2003), he probably won't add him now either.

A cool guest character could be Pacman. His final smash would be turning the level into the Pacman maze, and you can use him to eat the other fighters, who desperately try to find their way around the maze without being eaten.

I was going to say the Pac-Man 2 version.

Where his final smash involves using a slingshot to instruct Pac-Man to milk a cow. This somehow kills everyone.

You know what would be even cooler for Pac's final smash? If everything was pixelated, including the other fighters. IDK if Nintendo would go through all that just for one character's smash though...

If Luigi had the poltergust for his final smash, it would cool to see it look something like Chef Kirby, where he sucks everyone in, but then instead of cooking them, he could blast them out of the screen.

And speaking of assist trophies, that could be a neat way to include some characters like tempo from harmoknight or even some of the third party characters like zero. After all, we did see Shadow as an assist trophy, and Grey Fox. It would be a cool alternative to giving them a starring role.
