Now that season 1 is over how do you feel about Dogpound and Fishface?i

Also Nick's Shredder would never allow these two to keep failing him all the time, unlike OT Shredder who always forgave Bebop/Rocksteady.

For that reason alone I see Nick Shredder booting them out at some point, and them going off on their own.

i never cared for bebop or rocksteady

but i do agree that i think theyll be kicked out. this shredder doesnt seem to accept failure, and with tigerclaw coming as well, i really beleive that there will atleast be some plot involving their failures/leaving

Bebop/Rocksteady were charming. They were villains you also wanted to root for. Clumsy goofy villains are fun.

They are just sort of okay. I found them better when they were human. Now they're just kind of there.

I'm surprised at how much I like them. I'm really, really hoping we learn more about Dogpound's past, how he came to work for Shredder, possible family, etc. He reminds me a lot of Hun, but more competent and threatening (not to diss Hun since I actually liked him a lot too). I wouldn't have minded if he had stayed a human, though his human design was pretty obnoxious.

Fishface was admittedly more fun as a human and I really wish he had stayed that way, but his design is unique and the fact that if his legs broke down, or if he had no way of staying hydrated he'd essentially be out of luck is pretty interesting. He's actually quite defenseless (aside from his poisonous bite) and that's an angle that I like.

I'd have no problem if these two stuck around for the whole series. I do think they have a lot of room for some development, such as their backgrounds and if they'll eventually decide that working against the Shredder is more beneficial than working for him. Plus, they've already shown some complexities such as when they decided to work with the turtles against Baxter. I had really been hoping in that episode Mikey would have been separated with Dogpound the same way Raph was with Fishface, but maybe we'll get that type of confrontation a little bit later.

I think Xever and Bradford lost their appeal when they turned into mutants. They seemed more threatening to the turtles when they were humans. I guess I am just biased toward the turtles fighting skilled martial artists instead of more mutants. The mutant aspect of the show kind of ran dry by mutating basically all of their enemies. It kind of makes Dogpound and Fishface seem like throwaway villains instead of credible enemies, because of the way this show has dealt with mutants. They are just their for the turtles to fight.

Hey, that's not a fair comparison, Hun is actually interesting and competent. I didn't say I HATE Bebop and Rocksteady, I just don't get why people love them so much?

I think Shredder will get rid of them or demote them to make room for TigerClaw, Baxter-the-Fly, Mutagen Man (if he's not a rogue in his own right), and possibly other classic enemies like Bebop/Rocksteady, Tokka/Rahzar, and Groundchuck/Dirtbag. I have a feeling they will eventually be killed off.

With the exception of Tiger Claw, I really doubt the other people you mention will be working with Shredder and will be rogues in their own right.

Well, I think Mutagen Man would work for Shredder if Shredder offered him a cure or modification of his mutation in return, especially as Shredder works with the aliens that created the stuff. I have a feeling that would be a lot more tempting an offer then what the Turtles could offer, especially if M-Man's issue gets put onto the backburner every time something major comes up, or if Donnie has trouble figuring out a cure.

Edit: I would also add that I don't think Shredder would withhold it from him either. However, he would use the cure or modification to make M-Man feel like he owes Shredder a debt, and would make M-Man work for him as a repayment of that debt.

That seems more like a Krang thing than a Shredder thing
