Doubtful, but I would like to see the new reissues see release in more stores than TRU. That said, even if they do, I doubt they'll go for the same price as the Nick Basics do.

Wait...what? That's news to me. I knew the OT Turtles were going to make an appearance in the new show at some point, but I wasn't expecting them so soon in the second season.

Hurrijak: thanks for leaking more info. I think most of us are aware by now that your last round of pics were reliable. The leaks you posted in January were totally accurate so yeah. Thanks for continuing to deliver!

Gotta say I'm disappointed Karai is not listed... if her figure does not come out in 2014 then I might have to place Playmates in the doghouse

That said, while they are going overly heavy on the turtle variants, I will alway give them a chance to impress me. The LARP figures could end up being cool.

All the "original" figures like Casey and Squirrelnoid should be fun.

Unless it is a pricing mistake, Bebop and Rocksteady fully confirmed for the Nick series? The prices match the other basic figures, which could only mean one thing IMO...

Those Bebop and Rocksteady figures are *NOT* the 88 Retro versions, look at the item #s they clearly match up closely with the other 2014 nick figures shown on the screenshots.

Anyway I just had a thought. What if... Bebop and Rocksteady appear when the Nick turtles meet the 80s turtles, and somehow Bebop and Rocksteady get stuck in the Nick universe for good? That would be a pretty interesting way of introducing & keeping them as main characters that would help set them apart from the other mutant villains

Anyway yeah just one last thing: I totally support your leaks and as a fan I love it. Not asking you to stop. But at the same time it is kinda a bummer for everyone working on the Nick show that these secret reveals are getting out way earlier than they would like. Kinda ruins it in a way. Not blaming you just blaming the 'system' (aka wal-mart in this case, and/or Playmates for distributing this info without any regard to secrecy -- couldn't they code-name the figures until closer to release?)

Nah, I still think B, R, and Rah are Nick figs. The six retro figures out at TRU I'm thinking are getting the price cut.

Do you have a source? I don't want to get excited for no reason. I mean, I know the nick turtles are going to do a crossover with the 80's turtles but I didn't expect it to happen in the season 2 opener

All we know is that they'll be in Season 2. I don't think they're in the premiere.

Would be interesting if maybe Bebop, Rocksteady, and Rahzar really are getting new figures for the Nick TMNT line.

It could be that they are just making them to appeal to old school fans maybe. A lot of characters were made in the vintage TMNT toyline that never appeared in the show.

'Here's Bebop, Rocksteady, and Rahzar as they MIGHT appear if they were in the new TMNT show.'

That kind of thing.

Either that, or they're going to be in the show and they didn't want to ruin the surprise at SDCC or anything after already revealing Casey, Slash, Mutagen Man (fully), and Baxter's new but familiar look.

Another theory could be that we know IDW comics has them coming up in there continuity as well, so maybe they're making comic based figures.

You make a valid point & it's one I thought about as this latest round of reveals is kinda spoiler heavy(& I wrote as much there might be spoilers). At the end of the day I am super excited when new info hits or I find new stuff I can personally share with other fans, be it online, in the comic store(my other job)or in the aisles. It doesn't lessen my passion or excitement for these eps, if anything it makes me more anxious for the new season. Odds are most of these will be revealed officially by New York Comic Con which is still probably well before these episodes would air. It really is a double edged sword. What does everyone else think?

These spoilers excite me, it doesn't ruin anything for me. I get more amped, if anything. Speculation is awesome fun. Things like this give us stuff to talk about. I say keep it up. You could always put it in its own thread in spoiler tags in the future if it bothers others, but I doubt it will negatively affect anyone.

The *spoilers* are awesome! We're talking about the possible future releases of action figures, I'm not even sure they can be appropriately categorised as spoilers.

It's entirely possible that one or more of the listed characters may only appear in action figure form and will not appear in the Nick cartoon series. Bebop, Rocksteady, Rahzar and presumably Tokka (?) all seem likely candidates for this. Playmates may simply be releasing them in Nick style/design to appeal to an older fanbase.

I agree with the whole spoiler thing. Now, if they gave us exact specific details, then I'd be a little upset....but I don't really consider these to be spoilers.

I'm pretty sure the Bebop/Rocksteady listing is for the two new classic figures coming out, rather than Nick figures of the characters. We know the Bebop/Rocksteady classics are coming out soon so it makes sense.

The Rahzar figure makes me raise an eyebrow. Since we know they're making 1990 Movie figures, maybe Rahzar/Tokka are coming in that line?

Odd since we've never heard anything of Rahzar being in the Nick show.

No Karai or Sir Malachí? Or ICK? Maybe Karai will wind up like the classic Irma, related near the tail end of the line with limited articulation as a fanservice shortpacked toy.

They're definitely not. The price for them is the same price for all the Nick Basic figures. There's no way Playmates would be selling the 6" Classic Collection figures for less then half of what they normally cost.

Again, the price doesn't match the CC figures.

There's plenty of time for a Karai figure, we just need to be patient. As for Sir Malachi and ICK...the later is at-best an accessory, and the former could still happen...maybe. We just have to wait and see.

I don't see why Rahzar would be in the Nick show with no Tokka. Tokka's design is very different than Slash's (and we've seen Nick Slash), so there's no reason they can't co-exist in that show.

Maybe Shredder mutates Rahzar/Tokka in Season 2 as secondary mutants to Dogpound/Fishface.

Here you go...
Spoiler:

I think he'll translate quite nicely into plastic form. Hope he is released in one of their first waves(along with Casey).

I want to believe Bebop and Rocksteady are in the Nick line (that would be awesome), but it seems like we would see concept art from the show before we would hear info on figures, right?

Just thought I'd let everyone know that Playmates has updated their webstie with some new figures.
http://www.playmatestoys.com/brands/...-figures/basic
So we should be seeing them in stores very soon.
It says Shredder 2 was listed but it some how slipped past the person that does the site.
But here he is:
http://www.playmatestoys.com/views/3...ninja-turtles#
Also not shown yet on the site are these Throw N Battle figures:
Don
