They are quite nice for what they are. Articulation would be a huge improvement. However, as there are so many variations, I accept for what they are. The flingers have virtually no articulation. The 11" gang could have been awesome, but come over as being soap bottles, as someone in the bar I was in after I'd bought them, thought they were.
The sound effects are quite nice, particularly when someone picks one up!!

Lol what? I never thought of them as soap bottles, haha. The 11 inch figures are nice, and I WAS gonna buy them until I figured out that they didn't have any elbow articulation. Like, seriously...why would they take that out? It's one of the best things about the basic figures.

True, but the power sound FX figures have pupils. I will be buying the basic battle shells, though

really need to see matagen man from more angles and better lighting. but so far, looks like he could be pretty good. squirrelanoid is great. kirby bat is goofy but we'll see, after he's been in the show maybe i'll warm to him more

I thought they would show more today, but remember there's still NYCC coming up, they probably wanted to save some for there. honestly i'm surprised they showed much at powercon, that con must be gaining steam which is great.

Oh he's from Shanghai. Makes sense. Sadly none of my Chinese suppliers ever have Turtles stuff except for super common 2003 and 2007 figs.

Yup. I was told they get a general release late September (23rd). Originally the prototypes had painted goggles, then that idea was dropped for the base green. Playmates don't exactly go in for paint aps

I thought something was wrong with the release schedule when I wasn't offered the batch of figures I ordered yesterday. I realized that they are pretty much on schedule... It's just been a long couple of months

Thing is, this is the collector's series. It cost more money. They're not intended for kids, who wouldn't care about paint apps. This is somewhat acceptable in the Nick line, but here? No.

Oh, I don't have religion. But, someone needs to give you a hug... but I'M not going to touch you. So I think Jesus should take the wheel on this one. I don't know about you guys but I really like what Playmates is doing with the commercials for this line. They put up a new Secret Sewer Lair one, too

Reminds me so much of the vintage commercials, right down to the poorly replaced voices (I still don't get that, I mean wouldn't Nick want to offer voice clips for free since they help sell the toys?)
