Yeah, I finally found them today. 4 Mouser packs and every figure in the regular line was there in at least double except Snakeweed. Also noticed the Retro figures are down to $10 which will be good if they ever release something I don't already have carded.

Not quite, but I have the first 4 ready.
These are the originals and the 2013 versions - they are not unpacked yet.

Nice pickup. I was going to get them at toys r us today but then i saw spider bite the mousers the party wagon and the set of 6 reissused figs all on sell and i could help myself but def getting those hopefully tomorrow

hahahaha, I am living in germany and my kraang has lost his tentacles the exact same way;(..I didn't do ANYTHING to it...I wasn't even touching it, it merely stood there on my shelf and one day I noticed that his arms had fallen off...I guessed the sun was shining on it perhaps too often or something like that at first but been hearing this problem a lot lately so I think it has got to be about their cheap(?) production..
sad to see em go like that..I hope one day we'll get newer versions of the kraang as toys(maybe in their purple under skin exo suits?or the rocket jetpack versions?...and hopefully there the tentacle problem will be fixed.
I like the lego kraang much better in this case...

the squishy kraang brain sucks, period. very fragile and even light exposure to elements (over a period of time) will be damaging

Only one of mine's tentacles fell off from taking it out of the robot and putting it back in. I'm pretty sure another fell off, but it's tucked in the back of the robot so I don't really care. Anyway, yeah...it's a shame that they do that.

I found a month old article showcasing Mech Wreckers which was one of the sub sets of the 2003-2009 line that have the original line design Raphael and Leonardo featured. Is this in relation to the classics line?

It's based on the retro figures (4" figure, not 6") but wasn't originally released with the OT. The Mechs have been referenced throughout several of these threads. They aren't overly popular, but they are over-priced. Not Playmates best choice for a "retro" vehicle. They should have gone with a more recognizable vehicle with a lower price point, IMO. It's not like there weren't many to choose from!

While the Knucklehead is pretty cool, I definitely think the Cheapskate would have been a very smart pick- it is instantly recognizable and hits those nostalgia buttons that makes us want to buy things. Because after all, the more people they can make part with their money, the more successful they'll be! There are two planned so far, but I've only seen one guy selling them, and not cheap.

If Playmates reissued the cheapskate as stated, it would be a hit, but reissue if the Blimp would be a great idea. I could see a lot if those selling and those sales could literally go through the roof!

Haha, I see what you did there! But yeah, that would have been a hit as well! Especially since the Blimps didn't last as well as the Party Wagons did due to the Blimps being much more fragile.

Not to mention it works with multiple TMNT figures - it looks great with the original, 2K3 and NECA figures (not tried it with the Nick figures, I imagine it'd be a little big), and it even works with the Classics (I've got my Raph on one right now!):

That is one sharp looking Raphael you've got there! Each time I see a pic of him in his new paint job, I honestly can't get over how much of a difference your subtle changes made!

Your point about how interchangeable the Cheapskate is, is also a great selling point. It would be difficult to fit most of the other turtles into the Mechs... It would be nice to see them do an additional vehicle (maybe one that is ACTUALLY retro????).
