Great new covers. Classic Eastman, the RI cover looks amazing. Just like a oil painting on canvas.

God, I love City Fall! Great artwork & a badass story

Kevin Loh is awesome, and it's cool to see Dragonface returning in IDW too.

Eastman is nice too, Mikey fans will love it!

so judging from the covers for 27 it looks like
Spoiler:
Mikey grains entry to either a Foot Clan or Purple Dragon safehouse by pretending to be a pizza delivery guy and he and one (or more) of his brothers kick some ass inside. and then, maybe Bebop and Rocksteady show up? who knows

Santolouco even posted a preview shot of that, so yeah, it's very likely!

I'm getting an uneasy feeling like someone is going to die by the end of City Fall. Obviously its not one of the Turtles or Casey (judging by the covers for the Northampton arc that are out already). Just a thought

Not unless he takes the Shredder with him. His story truly ends once he kills his arch enemy and fulfills his promise.

Oh yikes, I don't think Splinter has really had enough development or individual interaction with each Turtle. That would be awful. Maybe issue 50? 100?

Just finished reading Issues #26 & 27....

I'm speechless! What a tremendous arc this is, everything is coming together perfectly and my anticipation for the Final Battle is through the roof.

Spoiler:
Beginning of #26 has got to be my favourite intro to a TMNT Comic ever. It just has this ominous feel and gravity to it -- you can really feel what Leo's going through just by that one panel. The savate DID have an important role in the arc after all (much to my surprise after #25) and I'd say that Leo Vs. Victor fight was totally badass. Of course, it just made Shredder all the more vicious from being seemingly merciful at first by letting Victor go only to cut off his hand and then later his head! Victor served as a reality check to reiterate the dyer situations here and the emotional weight of Leo's nightmare really cemented it.

The dialogue is really stepping up and I'm glad we haven't ran into any cliches or plot conveniences. Karai just accentuates this already crazy set-up and the twists and turns keep her character very interesting to watch. This isn't the Karai from the 4Kids show who makes obvious decisions in order to serve the plot, No, this is balls to the wall thrilling action that keeps the readers engaged and I love it! Issue #27 is when sh!t got really real for me, and it contained my favourite quote from the series so far:

Don: "I don't wanna hurt you!
Leo: "Yeah? Well, I really wanna hurt you!"
Raph: "No, you really don't. Trust me, bro!"

It just shows how far these characters have come and how serious the plot is getting (I love the character development in Mike and Splinter as well.) Everything is balanced perfectly from the humour to the unbelievably dark routes they're taking this Arc. Oh, and Casey fighting his dad, AKA HUN?! WIN! Turtles Vs. Bebop & Rocksteady? WIN WIN!

Everything is set up perfectly and if the final issue delivers, It will safely dethrone Mirage Turtles #1 as my favourite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles story ever told!

(9.6/10) for City Fall: Parts 5 & 6 BOOYAKASHA!

I just spent $100 at my local shop, $50+ of that being JUST on the TMNT... ya, I'm behind on my books because I dont live near my shop anymore :-/

So I got a bit to read... It's a bit annoyed not all my books got variants though... But I have the whole villain series up to #7 Bebop and Rocksteady and I think it's issue #27 with City Fall (Hun on cover) and it's R1 Cover B (With Mikey).

I finally caught up... I was behind #26-27, Hun and B&P. Then I went back and reread SHotFC and the front end of CF.

So anyone get the sense that Kitsune is going to
Spoiler:
leave/betray Shredder at the end of this arc? I have a feeling Shredder is going to have one of those "get what you wanted but not how you wanted it" experiences, and his micro will probably be a coda to City Fall where he's won his gang war but lost his chunin and his, um, witchy woman.

There's no way it's been sent to print yet.

Last I heard it drops 11/13. Not unusual to end big stories early.

ha, we'll need a minor miracle to make 11/27. Book is due to print tomorrow, and we still have some pages to go. If you're a betting man, this will most likely be the first late issue. Question is if we can push back Shredder micro too, because it really shouldn't be read first.

Will have the answers to these questions on Monday.

Switch it with the colored Eastman Annual... well, I know, it's probably not that simple.

IDW is the best version of TMNT

If they make a TMNT reboot movie retelling the shredder battle/origin, I won't buy a ticket.
