Stop getting your hopes up. That Lizard costume looks exactly how he does in the movie, with the limitations of it being a cheap costume. It's not like the costume gave him spikes or glowing red eyes, which contradicts what he looks like in the movie. That IS how the Turtles are gonna look like in the movie. They're not suddenly gonna remove the clothes and shades.

The new movie look is pretty awesome. I am pretty much convinced they're gonna be cool on screen after seeing this.

Part of me believes these "leaks" the movie toy line description and this costume is the studio way of gauging internet reaction before they go forward with any major marketing of the movie. I'm open-minded and willingly to give anything a chance but I can't picture Nick saying "yeah that's cool, go with that" considering these turtles would very different how they look in the show and the comic book series. I hope if the reaction is bad enough they do what Sucker Punch did with Cole when people hated how he looked in that first "InFamous 2" trailer.

lol good point, but deep down you know this design looks bad. haha just join the rest of us and we can all begin the healing process.

honestly, not anymore concerned about their designs than i was.

first the face. "its too humanoid" well yeah, cause its made for a human. the other costumes that have been posted like the other mikey and nick leo both had more human looking faces than their real designs. its a mask, made for humans. so i dont think we should assume its going to look completely the same. and with the nostril, i honestly believe theyre for the kid to breath. if not, oh well, i didnt mind the nostrils in oots. more realistic anyways.

the outfit. yes the sunglasses are kinda stupid. yeah the sweatshirt is pointless. but hey, its what these turtles wear, and i like the idea that each has their own style. this style fits mikey, however much we dislike it.

the tattoo. this one bothers me a little. howd he get it? why? do they all have one? if its explained in the movie, like they all got one because this or that, sure ok. if its just trying to add to mikeys style? not really a fan, but oh well.

really all this image did was make me curious to see the other turtles designs. it doesnt look incredible right now, again, cause its a kids costume, but i believe it will look just fine in the movie.

no they dont...its just this is now your fandom so you feel obligated to hate it without giving it a chance just like every fandom does with new movies and new desgins...after the movie comes out how many of those complaining will turn arond and all of a sudden love the designs...how many will buy the toys even though they claim to hate it

I really liked the OOTS versions. Didn't like the Next Mutation versions. these look similar in style.

I'm going to see this movie, but this costume looks terrible. We'll see. That design is bad, man.

if you are going to judge how the turtles look based of a halloween costume then you need to include ones like this
, and complain that the 80s toon was going to look awful based on that design

again childrens costume based on a design...we have no idea what the actual proportions of even the face looks like in action, they could be flawless

and why are we taking the word of a casual fan..thats exactly what they are a casual fan, casual fans complain and move on because they are not in a fandom or major fans like we are here on a messege board...those casual fans are the ones who will go see the movie and forget they hated it

Don't care about the clothes, sunglasses or tattoo (even though it is kinda funny, who gave him a tattoo?)

Im gonna hold my judgement until we see a real picture cause cheap halloween costumes are usually off and out of place...but after seeing this its looking a bit too human for me.

In all those cases they look like simplified versions of how they actually look in the movie. I mean, what do you want, actual metal parts or kevlar on a halloween costume. Either way, it's not like Bumblebee is blue, Optimus has wings, Nolan Batman has the yellow bat-oval and bat-nipples and the Iron Patriot came with the Captain America Shield. They look pretty much like they do in the movies, but simplified. So yeah, Mikey will be wearing those clothes, sporting tats and have a human-ish looking face in the movie, only look more realistic.
