That's the impression I got. Personally, I think Mikey
should act like a hip-hop kid, but a real hip-hop kid, not a racist parody like the aforementioned characters in Transformers 2.
Honestly, I don't know why anyone wouldn't want hip-hop influence in a Turtles movie. The first live action film had a hip-hop soundtrack, and it gave so much atmosphere to the film. Fastforward to TMNT in 2007 with it's skate punk soundtrack, and it just didn't fit the Turtles at all. TMNT is a franchise that needs hip-hop as an influence.
There's going to be a laundry list of problems with this film. That's not one of them.
