I don't think Leo was being a jerk, at least intentionally. He had every right to be concerned about Metalhead having more AI after utilizing MH last time and how dangerous he was under the Kraang's control. MH may have been good all along, but Leo's criticisms were a tad justified (especially after seeing how much of the thought of losing his team last episode can weigh on him. You could say that was also a factor in his judgment. Putting the team's welfare before a semi-disposable robot is what a leader should do after all). Hell, he even acknowledged he should've trusted Don and shares the sentiment of MH's sacrifice. That's hardly a 'jerky' thing to do.

They designed Chrome Dome because of Shredder so they base if off one of his henchman's armor? I know Bradford's look is a callback to the Mirage Shredder to us fans, but within the show... it's just Bradford's armor. Until we see other guys dressed like that.... it's just Bradford's armor exclusive to him.

Cause it's another case of 'it wasn't that same garage... it just happens to look like that same garage' due to limited CGI models.

Man, I haven't seen many CGI cartoons to be honest, but this one really does cut a lot of corners. Did other CGI cartoons do that?

Fine sequel episode to Metalhead whereas there was just a small reference in his original series sequel where he was useless and that Don just moved on. It clearly shows that Nick Don is much more passionate about his creations than any others. Metalhead driving the Shellraiser was cool since real life versions are already doing the same at Google Labs. And best of all, nice to see most of the mutants so far in this series (in a way this is Nick's Night of the Rogues) doing battle somewhere in another dimension. The portable bathroom scene though shows that Mike must have some special ability that the others lack, and was so excited to see where the Turtles would end up after passing through the portal leading up to the episodes' climax, provided with a Booyakasha! by Raph and Mikey showing that they're determined for action.

Overall: 8/10

I felt sympathy for Donnie in this episode. He tried so hard to convince his brothers that Metalhead wouldn't be a burden on the mission. In the end, however, Metalhead sacrificed himself to save Donnie. He was a good robot.

Also glad Snakeweed wasn't killed/destroyed in this episode, since this time he was mind controlled and it wasn't hit fault. Even when he was set free he chose to fight the Kraang and escape than to start trouble with the Turtles.

What can I say? I was captivated from beginning to end. Glad the imprisoned mutants are all loose again! Very sad to see Metalhead sacrifice himself. I was expecting that T2 thumbs up and I wasn't disappointed when my fiancé mentioned it to me. Loved the R2 scream as I'm a big Star Wars fan. Totally didn't see that mutant reunion coming! What a ride! Makes me want to rewatch all 11 season 2 eps on my instant vid. I wish I had time today but will probably have to have a marathon next weekend due to studying, shopping, etc. Time flies when you're having fun with TMNT related stuff.

Don sounded so heartbroken when Metalhead bought it. Yep, def another burden for him to carry. I actually felt sorry for Spiderbytes this time around. And how bout those portals? I wonder if the Kraang will use those to infiltrate the lair? I have to say that this episode is possibly my favorite episode in season 2. Also liked Kraang Conspiracy quite allot, but this one also delivered on so many levels. Hope we don't have a hiatus after next weekend's episode. At least not too much of one. Man I love this show! Booyakasha and all that jazz!

Very good episode! I really liked Metalhead in this one, and I'm really sad that now he's gone...I feel terrible for Donnie, as someone else said, they break his heart like every other episode. Something I really hated in this episode was Leo, he acted like a complete jerk for no reason. I get that he didn't like Metalhead (for whatever reason) but he didn't have to be such an a-hole to Don the whole time. Mikey seems like the only one to like Metalhead...and for a good reason, it's amazing that Don could build something like that. Anyway, I'm very sad to see him go...I'll miss him a lot

Now to my favorite part about the episode...all the filler mutants! It was AWESOME to see them all in one place, and it's nice to have an explanation as to where they've been this whole time. I don't know about the whole LH fiasco, but the only mutants I didn't see were Newtralizer, Rahzar and Fishface (obviously the last two wouldn't get captured, but Newtralizer should of been there). I never thought we'd even see characters like Pigeon Pete again. Was cool to see Slash again..seems like him and Raph have made up..sorta? I was happy to see Kirby Bat again too, I don't why but I really like him and his design for some reason. I was glad he was calm this time and wasn't just randomly trying to kill the turtles...actually, that goes to all the mutants, it was awesome to see them kind of working with the turtles, not going against them. I'd love to see this kind of thing again, maybe in the season finale where they all have to team up?

So, great episode. Feel bad for Don but at least he's getting a lot of development...sad that Metalhead is gone...hated Leo...loved the mutants...

Oh just realize that we finally have an answer on why there water pools in Donnie's lab. They farm algae and worms! they're not just ninjas. They're farmers!

Really loved the episodes and never expected the Kraang to have kept the mutants imprisoned. Definitely the best Kraang episode by far along side the Season 1 Finale.

On a side note, did anyone see Spy-Roach? Was trying to look for him, but couldn't find him.

He was there, but it was the all white, blue winged version of him (his second form).

Did anyone else notice the crisps/chips/whatever in the vending machine had gross flavours?

I'm hoping that reason Snakeweed didn't talk was because they had a limited budget and couldn't pay all the actors needed and not one where they just thought him speaking wasn't important.

As much as I loved seeing Snakeweed again, I was rather sad as I would have loved to hear his voice. Hope we see him soon!

Here's a better screen cap. It's LH's model, but with a color swap.
Not Leatherhead.

Any screen caps of Metalhead, Spider Bytes, Slash and the others?

I'm not, one thing I've seen from Max's reviews, is that he's been a big fan of the Donatello episodes, he's really loved the development of his character.
