And when Mikey carried her in a box to Rat King's lair, she's fine all the way. She can even fight in the most adorable way. I'm pretty sure the cat has regenerative ability - never ever running out of ice cream. ^_^ |

I think Mikey was keeping her in one of those cooler bags, but yeah, I think ICK will have some regen powers, it's a children's show, ICK won't die.

Ugh! I want the Shredder back! They have not had a single fight with him this whole season. I don't like the turtles fighting aliens, fungi, monsters, rats, worms, etc. I like them fighting NINJAs. Martial arts versus martial arts is what I want. And the whole "ice cream kitty" thing was meant to be adorable for 6-14 year olds (and to cater to the infuriatingly unfunny "random humor" trend that plagues most modern cartoons) but just came off as completely absurd. The only part of this episode I enjoyed was the final minutes when Splinter defeated Rat King and then tore off his blindfold while saying "Goodbye, my king." That was badass... But the next episode looks like ANOTHER bummer with mutant worms. **Groans**

Its probably what they got away with stuff like the failed experiment and shredded rats, the studio probably saw that and said to either cut it or put something in to balance it Mhm ... clever ...

When splinter and RK were running through the tunnels, I could've sworn splinter rapped his line.

Exactly. Let the turtles fight his foot, henchman, and even karai most of the time. It makes the shredder fights more intense. So far, I believe we've only seen the turtles fight shredder 2 times now,

They seem to handle Shredder like the way Superman the Animated series handle Darkseid. He was used sparingly but when he showed, crap really hit the fan. I like that. It gives Shredder a real menacing feel.

![]() As for the episode, I loved it. My family was being quite loud in the living room so I didn't catch most of the lines in the beginning, but I loved how they juxtaposed that picture of the RK here and there; it was pretty freaky. As for ICK, I would have much rathered she stayed a normal cat and became Klunk, but I'm okay with her like this.

I just realized what Irma & Casey are supposed to be, and what the April/Irma/Casey companionship is. It's that out of the box story telling that this show likes to do a lot of.
I don't remember what thread it was (Probably the Target: April thread) where I pointed out that Casey looked like he was designed to be a human version of Donatello, some people didn't see it like that bit some did. Now I watched Irma in this episode I noticed...Irma is Donnie too. That's the outside the box stuff Ciro is doing. When you put Casey & Irma together, you get Donatello to a core. April is best friends with both and likes hanging out with them. Casey has the characteristics traits of Donnie, Irma has the personality traits of Donnie. The irony is that April will never see that and although she likes all aspects of Donnie's character, she won't end up with him despite it. She isn't able to she that she likes all his traits separately. So that now explains why it was played out, they wanted you to see all the characters around her. |

thinking about it, mikey eating the ice cream from the cat might have a long term effect on him like getting stabbed had a long term effect on don

You mean what happened to Don on the 2003 series? The 2nd mutation?

How about Mikey getting horribly sick ? That cat was a stray and look mangled. I hope it didn't have aby diseases or infections.
