You can find Mousers? I've never seen a pack of those.

I'm not following the line too closely -- I've only bought the original Turtles and Splinter -- but I would gladly grab April, Casey and the second Shredder if I could find them anywhere.

There are a few stores here that severely over-ordered those ooze-themed Turtles in the Ghostbusters-style costumes - there are nearly enough of them to build a house out of, and they've just been sitting on their shelves unsold for ages. Everything else seems to get snapped up pretty quickly.

Oh, that really sucks then...I don't know what to tell you. If SIX stores had nothing but turtle variants than I guess your only hope is to order online.

By the way, I didn't know you were in Canada, that's why I said it was hard to believe, because it's not like that in the US.

He had the turtles, Shredder, a foot ninja and Splinter for a long time, so I got him a few other dudes. Found Baxter, Leatherhead, Metalhead and Snakeweed in the last little bit. Problem is he looks at the boxes and keeps saying he really wants the big wolf-looking dude, April and the Krang thing. The only thing I've been able to find for a month are turtles and variations on the turtles.

Anyways, my point for coming in here was to ask a question. Are there harder/more difficult to find figures in this collection, or are stores just not ordering anything because they're buried in unsold stock of sh*tty turtle variants? Both TRU's near me have WALLS of the exact same things. It's very frustrating.
If it were me, I'd just order online. It's easier that way, and it removes the hassle of sifting through endless Turtle variants. And I don't think that 'Big wolf-looking dude' will be out until the end of April.

Peanut: Can't speak for canada but I live on the West Coast USA and I always find good stock of all characters at every store. Occasionally I'll find it cleared out, but I don't see like wall to wall turtle variants with none of the other characters. They ALL sell relatively well. Anyway I feel really bad for some of you guys because I honestly see no supply problems in my area... at least for turtles stuff. Now Marvel Legends and some other lines... yeah those are VERY problematic.

I do think there is going to be a problem with turtles clogging shelves soon though as most of the audience for these toys will already have all 4 brothers, and most people don't need 3, 4, 5 different uniforms for each characters.

Right now most stores are stocking THREE types of basic figure turtles: the first wave turtles, the Battle Shell (basically storage shell) turtles & the Stealth turtles. So 3x of each turtle. That's a lot of turtles on the shelf! Less room for the other characters.

Again though I'd stress that I see a healthy variety of ALL characters, but in some locations I understand why it may be an issue. As we gradually move into Season 3 Playmates needs to play their cards more carefully in what they put in cases. Packing both the first wave Nick turtles + Storage Shells is very redundant.

Tips I'd suggest... a lot of stores tend to get toy stock on Thurs, Fri or Saturday. Not always, but as a general rule end of week brings more toys than beginning of week. So if you check stores Saturday morning you have the best chance to find new turtles.

Also, I watch online stores like a hawk. You can find nick figures for under $8 or (sometimes) $7 USD pretty regularly.

Argh I know what you mean Zulithe. The idea of having just one measly figure of all the villains, army builders and even allies in a whole box is just ludicrous. Army builders and villains are so hard to find because of those turtle variants. They must cut back on those silly variants and balance out the others much better.

As someone who gets bored and reorganizes pegs by character. I noticed in general where I live. Turtles move easier than co-stars despite their huge saturation. I tend to notice Kirby Bat, Cockroach Terminator, Kraang, and Spider Bytez staying in the same spots I put them in weeks later...

My area seems to be low on Mutagen Man, but I only found one Pupil one, but the paint job looked shoddy.

Well I'd say it's gonna be quite a while before we see those on shelves. Maybe wait a few months and maybe they might show up.

yeah that's about the same for my local Wal-Mart as well. it sucks! i've not even found the new ooze colors yet, and the new ooze has been out a very long time! and it never took that long for the original ooze to hit shelves up here

yeah all i've ever seen lately is those ooze-themed Turtles. i've also seen The Rat King, Cockroach Terminator, and Leatherhead. but no Spider Bytez! it's like they decided to f*ck us over by not giving us that whole wave!!

and forget about Shredder #2, i'm thinkin we won't ever see that figure. I think our best bet is to order stuff from American TRU or even Amazon

I saw on the Norwegian toys r us website that they have gotten Stealth Tech turtles and Shredder 2, not availed for the we store, but was supposedly in stock in my local store.

Turns out, that's not the case. The newest figures I found was Stockman, Cockroach and Snakeweed. They could however order a Shredder 2 for me, so hopefully I will get a Shredder 2 within a couple of weeks.

My Kmart was loaded the other day, only a few turtles and tons and tons of Casey's and the rest of the new wave. I came back a few hours later and some a**hole knocked all the figures off the pegs, and onto the floor and the area below the pegs.

All 12 pegs, just knocked over.
