Nick Turtles has the neatest concept of the character, adding that real emotional connection between the big turtle and Raph. But for character himself, the Archie series fleshed him out the best. That's not to say that Nick won't and I surely hope we see some real character progression with Slash similar to what the Archie comics did.
I love the idea of Slash going from villain to anti-hero and to see Feldman take the voice and development in the direction would shoot NIck to the top and make me change my vote.

However, it's early days for the Nick version and thus I can't give it to him yet.

For now, It's Archie with an eye on the Nick turtles to see what may come.

Due to the Spike backstory present over a season along with the compelling and often rapid attack moves (look how quickly Slash grabbed Donnie and turned against Raph to battle), I'll have to go with Nick for this one.

Until we see a lot more of the Nick Slash I don't see how there can be any balanced, reasonable argument for any version other than the Archie Slash at this point.

* Archie Slash's backstory is sound. He is a resident of Dimension X, from Palmadise. His whole world was wiped out, pretty much, and he fell into poor company (Krang).
* His story arc is sound. He begins a tragic bad guy, but soon becomes an ally of the Turtles/Mutanimals.
* Heroic sacrifice. He goes out in a blaze of glory, sending Maligna's mothership and all of its inhabitants into the sun to save the Earth (subsequently saving... billions of lives).

Nick Slash... what? Kind of cool, I guess, that he is Raphael's pet come "to life," it's cool that Corey Feldman is doing the voice... but until we see a lot more of him and where Ciro and company are taking him long-term it is wayyy too early to pass judgement on him either way, particularly when compared next to the Archie Slash, who literally has years of comics behind him.

I agree, but Archie Slash was only in what...maybe 9 or 10 comics at the most? He was in that initial 3-parter, then he disappears for a while, then he comes back for the big story arc and he's in Mutanimals #9.

I prefer Slash's Archie Comics. I think this version was the base to create many of Slash version, such as FW's version, video game's versions and others.

I like to read about Slash in Archie comics.

Nick Slash. I dislike his mentally handicapped incarnations.

I guess I'll say the one from Turtles In Time. Slash as a character is always interesting, but the story surrounding him, and his backstory, have always been pretty lame. I always liked the character on his own, but I never really liked any of the ways they've told his story. At least in the game you can just kind of "project" your own backstory, even though it's ostensibly the cartoon universe. The games and cartoons sometimes ran contrary to each other, so it's not mandatory to believe it's the exact same universe.

Otherwise, Archie's version.

I'm only familiar with Archie, Nick and OT Slash but out of those three I picked Archie.

Gonna have to go with Nick's Slash. Loved when he had the bandannas on his arms, like wow! That's some serious business right there.

Archie without a doubt. He was edgy yet there was a touch of Fred Wolf. Although we'll see what happens with the IDW version!
