So I teaser trailer that leads up to the reveal of the Ninja Turtles is a bad thing?

Which BTW is the first time the world gets to see the new Turtles.

Even though I am still looking forward to this movie and I do intend on seeing it, there are things about it so far I really don't like, and Megan Fox possibly being the main character and the turtles secondary, is the biggest problem I have. I wanna see the turtles, not Megan Fox (even though she is hot)

Yeah hides them because they are using moments in the teaser to build up to the reveal. No goal post moving here.

That is why this thread is reaching.

You are using a teaser, not an official, trailer to determine who the main focus of the movie is about. A teaser that goes out of its way to hide the turtles and to reveal them at the end.

Though I agree that keeping the Turtle reveal to the end makes sense for the trailer, that's probably not all that is being used as a gauge for their screen time. It isn't to outlandish to use Transformers as guideline.

But that isn't what this is about.

This is about the OP using a teaser trailer as the determining factor of who the movie is about. When from all descriptions the movie purposely goes out of its way to hide the Turtles and lead up to a reveal.

1. The teaser hasn't been released. Select few got to see it and we have a summary.

Ha no. We have detailed descriptions.

Just this side of transcripts, all from different people with corroborating accounts.

We know exactly what the teaser will be, unless they show us a DIFFERENT one come Thursday-ish. Which I doubt.

To me the fact that April will have more time on screen is not the real problem.

What bothers me the most is the fact that the Turtles have been deliberately "created" by Shredder...

One of the best part of the II movie was the discovery that they were born just by chance...I really liked that, because is what life is...just mastered by chance

That's not true.

Or rather, we don't know if thats true yet.

The trailer does NOT say April's dad created them.

But the FOCUS of the teaser, apparently, is very much on Megan Fox.

If it was cool quick shots of Turtles fighting thugs/foot ninjas that actually looked like ninjas with voice overs from maybe Splinter and then Shredder, that would be awesome.

But it's not.

I'm well aware of what teasers do/are.

I was a big fan of the first Dark Knight teaser, and that had NO film footage with only voice overs.

Well, until I actually see the trailer, I can't really judge for myself. But if this is the case, it doesn't surprise me that this is all about April. I'm still going to see the movie just once and if I don't like it, I'll never see it again.
