So buying out and then canceling any current shows of that franchise seem to to be a very Disney thing to do. Disney has become an impenetrable monolith.

I won't be getting the movie Turtles either. They don't look too nice to me.

Those movie figures look horrid. I can't imagine what the actual retail versions will look like...

Does anyone have a wave by wave release schedule from Playmates? I really want to know when the upcoming waves are coming out. Thanks.

The next wave (Rahzar,Slash,Dojo Splinter, And Newtrailizer) will be coming out in the June/July timeframe.

I'm not too sure about anything else.

It's scary the likelihood of a Bay TMNT influenced tv show may happen...
Since 80s-90s red sky turtle redesigns were supposedly "movie" influenced, but really they just looked angrier and more "edgy". 2k3 ended up having "2k7 influence" when it hit "Back to the Sewers"....

But in all honestly a non ninja Shredder just seems dull and completely obliterates the great Saki and Yoshi dynamic.

And the movie turtles for the most part look like they dressed themselves in the dark.

Yeah stealth tech and battleshell figures finally released in HK. Going to pick them up, i already had the stealth tech turtles but these have a slight different package and slight different paint colours. Already picked shredder 2, now together with my Exclusive shredder 2 in chrome.

BTW they still sell tons of those Exclusive black green leo`s and chrome shredder 2 in Hong Kong at TRU.

I'd prefer Raph but I think Leo has a better head sculpt

Still *NOT* a fan of the expressions on these... and before anyone posts the movie screen caps... yeah, I know. I just don't feel they are representative of the characters on the whole. Leo is the only one that even kind of works for me.

Considering how much better and pricier the Revoltech figures are gonna be, I may have to choose them over the Movie Classics. I do want both, but the former are light years ahead in quality... Given I can't really afford to collect much these days the decision to go with the better product seems logical.

And yet I don't buy Disney anything.

Clone Wars was actually getting better in the last few seasons. I honestly liked this series more than the prequel movies.

Yeah, it's funny because they seemed to be selling everybody at roughly the same price, about double of what is on the shelf. What's really awesome is that pretty much everyone of these can be bought easily in a store.

Still look at the prices for Gremlins, Star Wars, and Gijoe for things not on the shelf anymore. They will have a pretty high price.

hate to beat a dead horse, but how many of you actually saw a Rocksteady or Bebop in stores?

I only ever saw Bebop, at least twice. Never Rocksteady. I had to order him online.

Yup. At my nearest store, there's a single Mike and maybe 12 each of Bebop & Rocksteady - they're pegwarming harder than the Stealth Tech figures. That's probably why most chains have dropped the classic collection, leaving it as a store exclusive in the future.

I'd offer to pick some up for you Yanks, but with the exchange rate they'd work out pretty expensive - close to $75 when you factor in shipping.

I have never seen one Bebop or Rocksteady or any other classic at my local TRU. Of course I only went there last week and nothing, and it has been at least 6 months before that. I don't like going on wasted trips to that store anymore. I just waited to find them online for a decent price.

I use to like a good hunt. I never like dealing with the Christmas crowds at any given store or coming to an empty area where figures would be or being there a split second behind another figure buyer. It just isn't worth the disappointment.
