What should Karai mutate into? - Page 2

My first impulse is to say "fox", but Alopex and Ninjara are both distinctive characters with their own history; I feel it'd be doing them a disservice to combine them with Karai.

A cat would be suitable as it has the fluidity of movement and would give space for some nice character beats between her and Splinter; my one issue with it is that it seems a bit gender-stereotyped (the cats = feminine assumption).

It could be interesting to see some type of arachnid mutation - think less Spyderbites and more Black Arachnia from Beast Wars; some of Karai's movements have always seemed a little spider-like to me.

Had to look up pics, but Black Arachnia seems to fit Karai's stature quite nicely. It would be interesting for her to mutate into something like that if she ever does get mutated.

I kinda would like to see her mutant into a cat. Would be a great homage to "The Catwoman from Channel 6" in the OT. Only this time it's Karai mutating instead of April.

When someone asked Playmates about a Karai figure, they said that "Mutated Karai" is coming in 2015. So she's getting mutated.

I've asked this many times and never seem to get an answer. Where did that Playmates email originate from? Looked like something that easily could've been faked.

Well let's not forget when we found out that they were making new Bebop and Rocksteadys for the new show, and some of us (myself included) just thought it was the the retro line... and here we are.

I really want Karai to be mutated and let it stick, at least for a while. That would be a totally drastic change to an established character that I really want to see.

Just mutate her into a fox and call her Alopex...
Does every charachter now has to turn into a mutant? it's geting kinda repetitive...

Yeah, I could be kinda biased though, as I'm a big BlackArach fan!

I think it will be interesting if Karai does get mutated, in terms of how she'll react. Is it going to be something that'll drive a rift between her and Shredder/push her closer to Splinter and the Turtles? Or will it cause her to withdraw from all of them and strike out on her own? Will she go kind of crazy-ish, or retain her mental faculties?

There are a lot of different ways that it could play out and I'm looking forward to it, if for no other reason than we're getting a female mutant (which we don't get every day), it's Nick Karai (who I like), and it has the potential to be a lot of fun.

So consider this fangirl excited!

A spider would be interesting, but we already have Spider Bytes... and it makes no sense for her to turn into some strange curvy female spider thing.... while Vic turned into a Pokemon.

Karai's sexy, so she'll most likely be mutated into a sexy spider.

JK though mutagen has unpredictable properties, so who knows what will happen to her.
