I'm personally hoping Mutagen Man plays a role in aiding the production of Retro-Mutagen. Hopefully he shows up again soon at the end of Season 2 or even the Finale.

Ditto; I went from finding Timothy unspeakably annoying at first to empathising with him quite a bit... I want to see a resolution for him.

As do I. He was just a kid who made bad choices. No one deserves to end up like he did...except maybe the Foot Clan.

Here's a wacky idea. Let's douse him with retromutagen and see what happens!

Kirby, while not as far gone as Timmy, was still bascially a mindless bat monster. Pretty much seemed like a lost cause to me. But hit him with Retromutagen and he seems just fine.

So give Timmy a shot.

Yes, but the Turtles had use stealth and could actually beat Kirby O'Neil fairly easily, so dousing him with Retro-Mutagen wasn't difficult at all add on to the fact that he was able to cooperate once April convinced him too.

Mutagen Man however, is a lot more powerful, so once Donnie unfreezes him to cure him, he's going out on a rampage.

Honestly though, they could just trick him into drinking the retromutagen....

Ditto, I mean - he's basically a loser who wanted to not be a loser. I don't know about anyone else, but I can definitely relate!

I have a bad feeling he's gonna die or be trapped as mutagen man for the rest if the series. Nick tried to make him as unlikeable as possibly so we wouldn't care if that did happen. I assume the tmnt treating him ****** is also a subliminal way to make the kids watching also hate him. After all the tmnt are the heroes.

The problem is they never really made Timothy into a 'bad guy' that deserved all that. He was stupid over anxious and basically a doofus, but he wasn't evil. So sympathy will still exist for the guy.

I personally want him to pop his ooze-filled clogs; I was never able to feel sorry for him for his utterly ridiculous notion that dousing himself in mutagenic goo couldn't have any consequences. He was a lost cause from the beginning.

If that was the case, the whole Baxter Stockman, Turtles, and Footclan race for the Retro-Mutagen wouldn't have happened at all.

As far as he knew he woulda become a kickass mutant and help Donnie win the fight. For the longest time people even thought he was gonna be the newtralizer.

I have no idea what will happen to Timothy at this point...

They could find a way to cure him. (Seems more probable, since the show is aimed at kids after all.)

But on the other hand.... Maybe if the show actually has enough bravery, they could actually have Donatello do to Timothy, the same thing he did to Baxter Stockman in the Mirage Comics. (Possible, it kinda looks like a slightly similar situation...)

that whole thing shouldn't have happened, there was enough retro mutagen in that canister to heal Baxter, Kirby, Splinter, and all the mutants shown and any mutants that would arrive.

If he was cured, he'd probably just go right back to being the Pulverizer... which I don't think anyone (even TPTB) wants to see.

I've stated before, I don't think they would have hammered home the "You're responsible for whatever happens" quote if it doesn't "end" in tragedy.

To me, there's no closure to that line if he's cured and then just never shows up again.

Donnie can be responsible for curing him XD that's what can happen.

That's what I'm saying though, if Donnie cures him and that's the end, then the story and arc never really ends, Donnie will have to continue to be watching out for him for end's on because of what was told of him, which I think we all know won't happen for the longevity of the show, meaning that line has very little meaning if Donnie just cures Timothy and he lets him be, because Donnie will need to be "forever responsible". Meaning it would have to end in some way.

That's just how life works though. Killing him shouldn't be the answer. Besides maybe they can go another route and make so the experience teaches him a lesson and he decides to either leave the hero life or get more serious about it. I know he was meant a sole comedy relief but that kind of traumatic event does change a guy.

Though this might work more in a comic. The cartoon is too status quo to do that kind of dramatic change and just make him a doofus that didn't learn his lesson again.

This likely has almost zero chance of it happening, but maybe he becomes Rocksteady?
