Aww man... I'm hoping those were left over from the previous batch... He did say they were painted...

On one hand: Wow, they're doing repaints! Awesome!

On another: I have to buy another one of each of these guys now?

I want to see the Dogpound repaint most of all. The original was so terrible and IMO the worst looking figure in the whole line...it'll be interesting to see if a new paint job can help him.

Yeah, that was bad when he had that hideous white 'marshmallow' back.

I'm really looking forward to Dogpound and Snakeweed.

Picked up new movie Raph, not too thrilled about movie, but Raph at least looks interesting and has the least omitted paint apps. Okay figure, but the lack of wrist swivels, legs are sculpted funky, and a place to store sais are a bummer. I don't like the hunchback look much either.

Playmates put this on Facebook a few days ago:

Besides the blimp, TC is there and it doesn't seem like too many paint apps were removed, luckily. His scale seems pretty good, too.

Called a local Target this morning and talked to my friend who works there and he said that they had them. He held the four turtles for me so I could pick them up after I got off work. After opening them, I can say I enjoy them quite a bit. Id say the weakest is Donnie but maybe thats because mines legs are pretty loose. If there was one thing I would change, though, Itd be adding a wrist swivel.

So basically the new movie figures are available, but only in the backroom?

They are being held until Target and other stores do a shelf reset where they put out a bunch of new stuff at once.

Yes, if you ask an employee they can bring a box from the back and let you buy some.

8.99 at target... plus 5% off with RED Card. If you wait you can maybe get them for 6.99 on sale I guess? I don't think these will be flooding clearance. They might not be huge sellers but it's still the TMNT brand which is strong with kids.

Hey where in North Cali are you? I usually shop at the Richmond Target or the downtown San Francisco CityTarget. That is where I got mine earlier today (Richmond). Don't worry, I left tons behind I only bought 7 figures and they had 48 in the back.

I guess Leatherhead isn't getting a repaint as previously reported or he'd be the one I'm most interested in. Cockroach looked pretty good though, def better than the original paint. It's not a major change but it does add to the figure for sure.

I got the 11" Movie Turtles yesterday.
No elbow articulation (just like the Battle Shell figures) but wrists twist around OK.
Actually, these look pretty cool with decent detailing. Looking for the regular sized versions for the Movie Turtle Van that I got.

Any chance of making a video review?

Here's what I personally do with Raph, it's not perfect but it works.

butt scratcher! butt scratcher!

I tried my store and they had nothing; no repaints and no figures in the back.

I will try somewhere else.

Hmmm...for some reason I actually think those movie figures did not look as bad as I thought they will be. And I really like the eyes this way

Used the DPCI (087-06-0461) at my Target in St Louis and had these pulled. At first the manager said they couldn't sell them to me, but then she said to try and scan it (thinking it wouldn't ring up) but it did so I got the whole set of 7. Splinter's going back tho, just...ugh.
