He is voicing Leo this Sunday. Jason must not have been available at the time of recording.

I'd rather have Dom. Jason... sounds like one of those guys that eventually say something really offensive either as a slip or trying to be shocking, and then Nick has to do damage control and try to disassociate themselves from the negativity.

I've seen that happen before, and it's not pretty. Besides, just because a person's famous, doesn't mean they automatically act like a douche. Frank Welker does many voices on all different shows, and he seems to be a nice guy.

Well, if that happens, then it's his own fault, not anyone else's. But to me, it seems like they knew about his shocking behavior before they hired him, and if they didn't want someone like that working for their company, they wouldn't have hired him in the first place. So I don't think they'll fire him unless they really have to. I think Dom's just the understudy for now.

Whether it's temporary or not, Nick subtly indicated with Dominic Catrambone's presence that Jason Biggs is replaceable/expendable, and that he can be easily removed from the "close-knit" voice acting team if Biggs thinks he's somehow an integral part of it. So I'm sure if Biggs does go too far, Nick has indicated to Biggs that he certainly won't be missed from a business perspective, since there's already someone else who's ready to take over his job, and his absence won't be noticeable in the finished product.

The big question is what is the tolerance level for the Nick executives with Biggs' behavior, since he's now gained the unwanted attention of the middle-aged women demographic about his comments on The Bachelorette. I'm sure Nick isn't too happy since those women are the mothers of the children watching the Nick TMNT show, and the source of Nick's income for the TMNT merchandise.

That's the thing. It probably varies with what company you work for. But as I said before, they knew from the get go what they were getting into in hiring Jason as Leo and knew about his comments on his Twitter page beforehand since some of the Nick folks even linked to it on their site. My thing is, if they knew of all of this, then they shouldn't have hired him in the first place. They did though, so if things get out of hand, it's essentially their fault for hiring him. He's definitely expendable and I'm sure a lot of us really wouldn't care if he continued to play Leo or not with the exception of maybe a select few. I think Dom's a perfect replacement and certainly won't mind if he's there on a permanent basis.

Any idea if the others have a stand-ins? Guess it could be a little bit of pressure on old Mr. Biggs there with this other guy waiting to take his place full-time should it need to happen.

Side note, it kinda irks me a little though that us "regular" people could have a potential employer pass judgement based on things posted to Facebook or Twitter, but a celebrity of course gets a free pass.

Yeah, I agree with that, but that's the way the world works. Same goes for getting in trouble with the law and how celebrities get free passes on that, too. So horrible.

The flip side, though, is that celebrities will be followed a lot more closely by a lot more people. An employer may be willing to give a celebrity a free pass at their association if that celebrity possessed something else that appeals to them, or more commonly, if that celebrity's very name sells. But if the public's opinion starts to shift; if the celebrity has done those things the people truly won't forgive, then it becomes bad for business to keep the association.

Would Anrea Romero be the responsible for his controversial hiring?

Let us not forget that Sean Astin if only so well known is also a celebrity of sorts like Biggs while the others are premarily voice actors.

I don't know if it was Andrea who hired him or not, but if she did, she did it primarily on his audition. But if he's getting some controversy over things and it's putting bad press for Nick, then he may be replaced. It's up to the company themselves to decide whether to do that or not. They may not because they may be the type of company who doesn't worry about what someone says on their Twitter page. They may feel that as long as Jason is bringing in money for them, they'll look the other way on his other stuff.

I've yet to see his voice-over work come into any articles or backlash, other than on here. It's always American Pie Actor this or Orange is the New Black that. Never once a mention of TMNT or Nickelodeon. I'd chalk it up to more of a scheduling issue than a behind-the-scenes drama thing. Not to say Nick wouldn't want to eventually cut ties with a controversial employee.... Guess that's contractual though. Morality clause?

I also don't see anyone not buying their kids Leo toys, or allowing them to not watch the show based on some tweets by a voice actor. He's basically faceless/nameless on the show.

Yet two years ago parents were saying they wouldn't let their kids watch Nick because of tweets Biggs made. http://twitchy.com/2012/08/31/pressu...t-jason-biggs/

I can see that went far for them.

I did a quick google and only saw 1 news story since TMNT debuted mentioning Jason Biggs' 'raunchy tweets' (sames site you posted above, but the story is from March 2013). Most of what pops up is Nick apologizing for promoting his Twitter Feed back in September of 2012. Hell, I saw there's even a 'Jason Biggs Needs to be Fired' group on Facebook that has a whopping 19 likes. Hardly the witch hunt some people are purporting there is.

I wouldn't be surprised, nor blame Nick if they fired him. But the story out side of our little community here isn't so much - 'OMG LEO FROM TMNT IS A MISOGYNIST RACIST DOUCHE'. It's a whole lot more - 'JASON BIGGS IS KIND OF A JERK!'

LOL Poor Leo, how does he get teamed up with some of these people.

Most have prob seen it before when actors are asked if or how they might related to their character. Kind of counter intuitive in this case, and the movie. lol

I wouldn't be surprised if Biggs was fired, but I wouldn't necessarily want it, either. I mean, Dom did a good job with Leo in Pizza Face, as it was almost unnoticable, but this week's episode, his acting was flat, you could tell from a mile away it wasn't Biggs, just... ugh. I wouldn't be surprised if Biggs is gone, but I hope Dom steps up his game in the acting department if he's a permanent replacement.

Sounds like he's probably going to do the rest of Season 2 now.

If that's the case I doubt they'll bother bringing Jason Biggs back for Season 3. Its looking more and more that this was a permanent recast.

Really sounds like he's permanent.

Just going to have to accept it. Can't deny I'm pretty upset about it, just because Jason did so well for Leo.

I'm sure I could get used to dominic, but not the way he's doing it now. He needs to put more inflection in his voice, because as of now Leo's facial expressions should remain a constant straight face to match the voice
