Jason Biggs recast as Leonardo. Seth Green to replace him

Jason being fired this late in the game makes no sense as he made offensive tweets before and Nick did nothing. If they had wanted to fire him, they should have done it sooner rather than later. They knew what they were getting into in hiring him and should have thought about that before giving him the job.

Seth will make an awesome Leo as I think he can lend a different take on the voice.

Makes me think that maybe he was also a pain to work with and they eventually decided enough was enough like many employers might do.

Just speculation of course, though I don't doubt that someone who has publicly acted the way he has would not be much better as a co-worker. If it was though, doubt we'd really hear about it, would be a bit unprofessional for an employer to spout off about someone they fired if it affects the person's job prospects.


Now we all just need to put pressure on Seth Green to go in with the right mindset. lol

Apparently, Jason was fired from the show. Someone who visited the studio during a record session back in January said that had Seth agreed to take over during that time.

Also, Jason Biggs was kicked off the show, and has been replaced by Seth Green. I was heartbroken when I first heard the news. I really admired Jason... But then I thought maybe this was for the best, some of his tweets were really offensive to some people, so it makes a little sense now... Still I'm upset about it...

I really hope we don't ever lose Greg Cipes. The more I read about him the more realize how awesome of a guy he seems. He literally embodies the Surfer dude persona and seems to legitimately enjoy life (one of the main characteristics of Mikey)

I always have a soft spot for Greg Cipes. I like him ever since Beast Boy in Teen Titans.

He embodies good-hearted nature and fun loving persona. The other guys are awesome too, of course.

So nice to see him get along with Seth Green as well.

I'm a person that personal feelings aside of what I think of said person, if they're dedicated in their work, I'll support them.

I never got that vibe from Jason, he was a perfect voice for Leo, no question, but I never believed that he ever embraced his role as Leonardo and/or the show, or the people around him involved with the show. Otherwise, I would think he would have tried to stay a tab more restraint of his actions outside the show. Not saying go full force, but just something.

Seth so far looks promising, he seems to have a good relationship with a majority of the people involved with the show.

If he commits to the show and the character, then I'll commit to him and support his role as Leonardo.

I'm not saying be an angel, just show that you care.

Along with Cipes, he also seems to get along great with Kevin Michael Richardson.

I've said it before, but I thought Biggs' take on Leo was basically perfect and I'll miss him in the role a lot... but Seth Green seems like a great guy, and he's always been a real ambassador for the stuff he works on. I feel like he's much more likely to promote the show and show up at events than Biggs, who does his own thing and I'm sure felt constricted by being the constant target of parent groups since he signed on. And I respect that - he's free to do what makes him happy, and if this wasn't a good fit, it wasn't a good fit. I hope Green doesn't face the same problems there, but I feel like he may be more able and/or willing to handle it.

Not sure if he charges a lot, but the guy's a household name. He's almost certainly expensive.
