Nice! Man I wish I had room to take something like that home from the theater once they take it down. It's massive.

I'd love to have space for something like that too. If I had money I'd probably use it all on a tmnt room with all kinds of stuff in it.

1. I don't like how they don't seem to really have any plastron on the front. It's more like it's just yellow skin on their torso.

2. Still think Leo's chest armor looks absolutely stupid. If he had proper plastron, that wouldn't be necessary. And his face in the poster looks weird still. I like him A LOT in the trailer, just not that poster. In the poster's, LEO is the one that looks like Shrek. It's the lines where the outlining the mouth area and defining the cheeks. It just looks freakish and bad to me.
Additional nitpick: I'd like to see the elbow pads on Leo. I dig the rest of his gear, just swap the armor for proper plastron and gimme classic elbow pads.

3. Mike's pic emphasizes it best, but I really don't like not having any connector between the shell and plastron. That's pretty common in the cartoons, though. I just think they look weird without it so bummed they didn't have it. Mikey looks pretty big too. Not height, just thick from front to where the shell joins the torso. They eat lots of Wheaties pizza

4. Raph just looks absolutely enormous. But eh, they all seem to have superhuman strength. They look like Hulks to me still, but they DEFINITELY have Captain America quality super strength from what the trailer shows.

5. Raph and Don's posters emphasize it the most, but Don's the worst.....why does it look like his shell is coming off? From the middle of his upper back it's not even connected to him, around the shoulder blades. O_o

Anyway...the banner is no longer on pizzahut.com when I look, but I did get the same image from them in an e-mail that says "They're coming" in regards to Cheesy Bites Pizzas on July 7
Yeah, Donnie's shell and the lack of shell bridges on all of them is still really weird to me visually.

Found one in my local Cinemark right outside where Transformers is playing. I even asked the manager about purchasing it, and she said "No, sorry" apparently they have to send them back to the studio or something.

I'm now getting mental images of desperate fans trying to figure out ways to smuggle these things out of the cinema! Not that I would ever advocate such a thing... Kind of sucks, I mean, the studio's just going to destroy them once they get them back, I'd assume.

If it helps, there's bound to be some similar cardboard standouts when the dvd comes out - maybe you'll be able to get your hands on some of them?

I saw that, and it was also next to a GOTG display and a TF4 display. I would have gotten a picture, but it was up on the balcony and the railing was kind of blocking it's view.

I worked at a theater a long time ago, and after the movie had left the theater, the owners would let the other employees (back then, most employees were movie buffs) choose what they wanted to take home. And what they didn't want, they would offer an end of the month sale for the patrons to buy. I honestly haven't seen something like that in some time, but I don't see why someone couldn't just ask the manager if they could have it/buy it after it's use is expired.

That is a lie. I used to work in a theater and when we were finished we would just throw them out. However if someone asked before we did, we would give it to them. The studio has no use for these things anymore. Why would they? They have such great risk of being damaged anyway. I saw a Rio 2 cutout with a head ripped off a few weeks ago

I remember my mom asking to buy a Michael Keaton Batman standee back in 1989 at the movie theater and the employee said the exact same thing- that they had to give it back to the studio or the distributor or somesuch...
Maybe it's just an universal excuse they give you when one of the employees wants to keep it for himself

Cool standee though... I'm gonna keep me eyes peeled for that one...

Yeah, I've got to be honest, I really wouldn't see anything wrong with heisting one of these. I just think it would mean way more to someone to have it in their collection than to just send it back to the distributor to be junked.

I mean, yeah, stealing is wrong and all that, but this seems like kind of a grey area to me...
