Definitely true. But they couldn't by that point, the toy packages were already done and printed. Adding "Teenage Mutant" to the top was their only option in order to have brand consistency across various forms of licensing.

Saw Transformers 4 today here in the UK and it had TMNT trailer 3 (the 1 min trailer where Mikey says dude at the end) attached to it and it got a good positive reaction from the crowd, there were a few laughs, a few kids shouting out "Yes" and I could hear people near me saying they want to go see it.

I also had a quick look round the cinema to see if I can could see any posters but their wasn't any, maybe in a couple of weeks it will.

real stoked on the shot of Leo saying "we're ninjas" I think Knoxville's voice is gonna work out and the facial expression looks great in my opinion. I keep feeling better and better about this movie the more they show.

my wife, and I saw T4 the other day, and saw the latest full TMNT trailer. I gotta say that after watching (and rewatching) the trailer so many times on my ipad, android, etc. it was really something special seeing this on the big screen, and just got even more hyped to see this film opening day.

and the theater crowd laughed during Mikey's "...we will find you though." line.

This makes me so jeolouse....lol....I went to see t4 the other day at the driv in and the bastards litterally went straight into the movie without showing any previews couldnt even concentrate on the first 30 min of the movie cause I was so angry about not getting to see this trailer on the big screen.....

Wow, really? Where I live people just shut up during the previews and just watch them. Very rarely does some moron spit out his commentary at the theater. I guess if I wanted to gauge a reaction to the trailer, I couldn't.

Just saw this little commercial/bumper on Nick that had four kids, each wearing one of the turtle masks, on a scavenger hunt with hints from Megan Fox. No new footage or anything, but it's good to see they're starting to promote it a lot now.

nah its the same as my local theaters..people use the trailers to get last minute words in and phone convos

Trailers are one of my favorite parts people best shut their mouths lol

same here..the lights dim a little but don't go full dark until the actual movie

but man i have some horror stories from the movies..people around me just suck...its half the reason i don't go opening night anymore

Yeah I stopped going to opening night of any movie that's got a chance of being crammed full of kids and/or teenagers. Either midnight or really late-night showings or school hours (during the school year obviously) for me. That's another reason I'm not in a rush to see this in theaters, because ball-gags really need to be mandatory on any movie-goer under the age of 20 years of age.
