I like what that user wrote regarding April. I pretty much agree with it. I don't favor April for this incarnation, or any actually, but I've never disliked the character. She's very stubborn and hates being a damsel in distress, just like the previous Aprils. I was under the impression that she didn't want to come across as weak or useless. I also find it interesting how Donnie kinda allows her to vent, for the most part.

The more I hang around here, the more I'm liking the Donnie x April thing...but it also depends on my mood. lol

You know, I wonder why April and Kirby would keep those photos up in general. There is April's aunt, who I would assume doesn't know about the turtles and she's still keeping them secret from Irma. Do they take down the photos every time they have visitors?

Eh, I don't know if they think that far ahead when creating this show, but I'm guessing if someone asked about the photos, April could always say she was at a costume party with a friend or something. Irma could assume it was Casey in the costume.

I don't think April was actually living with her Aunt while Kirby was...lets just say absent for various reasons. The likely hood is April was living by herself and her aunt would wire her money for necessities.

April was living with her aunt when Kirby disappeared in season 1, but she never really mentioned it in season 2, so I just assumed she went back there or decided to live by herself.

Well I think the situation was up to interpretation. April just says her Aunt said she 'Could stay there as long as she wants.' Which could mean two things.

One April is living at her Aunts place, or maybe house sitting for her Aunt. As far as we know April's Aunt could be Aunt Aggie, though it might be end up being Aunt Augusta.

Or two her aunt is permitting her to remain at the home she shares with her father.

We know the Apartment where April is living in season one and the one in season two are the same. And there is never any "How am I going to explain this to my Aunt?" When April has to moves into the lair for months on end? Nor anyone asking April who she's talking to when any of the Turtles come to visit.

That would be cool if she was a detective of sorts like that. I also found it odd that April never mentioned her aunt when she had to stay with the guys, but I'm sure she thought of it.

I also like that they have pictures that Don has, too. Maybe he gave her copies of them to hang up.

In NYC? I couldn't see it. My theory is that the writers forgot about her aunt, just like how I think they sometimes forget Donnie has a blade in his bo.

Or a late bloomer. Does it really matter? Some people don't have crushes and stuff and just because you're a teen doesn't mean you must fall for someone. Maybe he doesn't have that "Ew cooties" view, but that doesn't mean he must have a crush. Maybe he's not attracted to human girls.

TBH, Mikey seems to have so much going on to keep him preoccupied. Food, comic books, and games. lol. But it's interesting to note how he understands the heart.
