I honestly don't wanna see the Turtles talk to the '87 Turtles. I'd love to see the 2003 series Turtles to have a cameo in the show like the '87 Turtles. That'd also be nice to see, but I'm more concerned on what's gonna happen with the next episodes rather than the whole Turtles Forever Remake.

I sorta avoided Turtles Forever in fear of the special putting down the OT turtles to make the other incarnations look better. Seems some truly felt that way.

I feel that if the Nick show did a brief crossover with the OT turtles, they wouldn't be treated so badly or made to feel off to those who were fans of the OT, although for Wormquake I laughed over the silliness of having the the OT turtles sitting out in broad daylight, on the roof randomly eating pizza being overexaggerated as they wouldn't have.

Oh other reason...I just want to see OT Raph talk with Nick Donnie, or have them say something snarky about something. It can be brief, I just want these two on screen talking to each other.

If they do an episode where OT Raph and Nick Donnie are swapping quotes (would be cute as hell if they were to do the alphabet routine that was in the Mirage comics and the 1990 movie between Raph/Donnie and Casey) I sure hope Paulsen gets recognized for it in some award show.

Does anyone know when episode 23 will air? Cos it's been 2 weeks now. This is what's making people think Vengeance is Mine was the finale.

I'd rather have like they used to have, where they traveled to different dimensions and just explored, but they didn't try to make a meta statement or use it to be universe destroying. The latter just feels so depressing.
I don't think it's about that at all. It's a kids show, kids love to see crazy stuff like the '87 turtles interacting with the Nick turtles.

Now if that doesn't make Nick re-release the 2003 series' DVDs then I don't know what will!

Not a remake, a follow-up/sequel.

Really hope they don't overdo this sort of thing. Crossovers should be special events like Turtles Forever, not a recurring thing. Each "new" series should stand on its own strengths without leaning too much on nostalgia for the '80s show.

That and the Flash animation they used for those sequences (and the Space Heroes and anime show-in-a-show stuff) is pretty limited and doesn't hold up to the quality of the traditionally-animated series it's mimicking. It's fine for a brief cameo, but anything further than that would really need better-looking (and more expensive) animation.

I didn't see it like that at all. Each universe is perfectly "real" in its own right, with its own rules and consequences, but they all spring from the original source. That doesn't mean they "mean nothing". It's just nodding to the original comics as the reason they exist in the first place.

Totally agreed, and hopefully that happens if they're going to revisit the multiverse again. I wouldn't need anything big or gratuitous - just have someone peer into their world for a second and move on.

If they did do another Turtles Forever type of thing, I'd love to see all 12 Turtles fight the 3 Shredders. That'd be an amazing battle rather than that disappointing giant-Shredder at the end of Turtles Forever. Personally, I'd love to see 2012 Shredder and Chr'ell team up and give some ass whoopin's since they are the two strongest Shredders. I actually think Shredder 2012 could take on the 2003 Turtles allied with the Nick Turtles, as the 2003 Shredder became more of a balanced opponent for them by the 2nd season. With the 2012 Shredder, on the other hand, the Turtles have a hard time landing one hit on him.

According to a caption in TMNT: The Ultimate Visual History. The 2012 Shredder is more dangerous then previous incarnations. Which is true, he is slightly more hands on then previous Shredder's were.

1987 Shredder was a joke, he was dangerous yes but he was more oafish because of the show wanted laughs. And two bumbling sidekicks, and a wisecracking brain who he had an alliance with as well as a rivalry for world domination didn't help matters. But there are a number of times he would let a machine or a something else eliminate the Turtles vs doing it himself.

2003 Shredder was more vindictive and sadistic. He only wanted to eliminate the Turtles because they stood in the way of his plans. With the exception of hunting down the Turtles on a few occasions or deliberately setting up traps for the, he would keep focus on his main goals and if the Turtles were destroyed as a result more the better.

2012 is more unhinged then the previous Shredders. He is so focused on revenge nothing else matters in his eyes. Anything and anyone who is allied with Splinter needs to be eliminated. But he wants to have the pleasure of seeing them all die by his hands one way or another. So far there hasn't been any actual moments where he has offered the having the Turtles join the Foot clan. And Vengance is Mine counted as a brainwashing situation since he was planning to turn the Turtles into mindless slaves who would kill and devour their teacher.

Who knows, maybe their could be an episode where a Turtle joins the Foot Clan even if it's temporary. But that was pretty much done with Karai so there is little point in doing a brainwashed turtle joining the Foot Clan situation.

I thought '87 Shredder fit the show because the show was a joke. He would always get taken out too easily.
2003 Shredder was a vicious opponent overall, but not in combat. He was an evil mastermind but some of the fights with the Turtles were disappointing due to the inconsistency of if Shredder's stronger than them or not. I will give them the fight in Season 4 episode 8... that was fantastic. Although I do like Shredder 2003, him being an Utrom ruined him a bit.
2012 is by a longshot my favorite television incarnation because he's human. That's my favorite thing about Shredder: The Turtles face mutants and aliens and win, but they get their asses kicked by a human. The exo-suit gave Chr'ell a lot of power, which is why I liked Bishop a lot more as a villain due to the fact he was a pretty decent challenge for the Turtles. Shredder 2012 is someone you just don't wanna f*ck with. Plus, we're nearly done with the second season and he's still so much stronger than them. I did like the fact that Shredder 2003 had other plans rather than being psycho, but I feel they don't need to give 2012 Shredder "other plans" due to the fact that making him psycho is a big part of the show, making him a lot deadlier than previous incarnations. I'm SUPER excited to see the Leo one-shot with this Shredder.
And about the Foot Clan thing, I'd LOVE to see Leo join the Foot like in City Fall.

Well, he's still a great villain and he fit the show, I just like Shredder 2012 better because he's the darkest part of the show. Plus he's much more ruthless and a better fighter.

The whole Utrom thing was a big disappointment for me, as I like the Shredder as a human. After Leo chopped his head off, he became... inconsistent to say the least. One part of the fight the Turtles would be winning, next part he'd be dominating and it was just eyesore. I really wanna see some 2012 Shredder centric episodes like Kuro Kabuto and some more fights with the Turtles, although I do get pretty pumped up when you see them about to face him just because we don't see the fights that often, and it'd be great if the fights were a bit longer... I just think the soccer moms at Nick saw the first fight and were like "AW HELL NO! PULL BACK THE VIOLENCE!"

According to zapit, the only upcoming episodes are all repeats.

Kuro Kabuto, Pizza Face, Manhattan and Rise Of The Turtles.

I wasn't sure where to ask this, especially since it's not "season 2" related, nor is it even episode related, but decided to do so here anyway.

Has there been anything officially released regarding the turtles' profiles for this incarnation, like weight, height, age, etc.? That type of stuff? I know they're 15 (as always), but am curious about the height thing now that I'm thinking about it.

For the old games, they were like 5'1 and stuff and for the old toon I think they were supposed to have been about that height. In the new toon, it was mentioned that Donnie's bo-staff was about 6'0. Based on that, I've been a bit curious.

With the Season 3 concept art on Creep has Donatello listed at 5'8, but the other Turtles, we don't know for sure, but I'd say they are 5'3-5'5. We have no idea about their weight, but they do seem to be 15, if not 16 as they were 15 at the start of the Season. Since Donnie says it has been a couple of months since the Kraang communication orb has worked (which was since the first ep. of Season 2), then we can infer they are ~ 16 yr old if we also take in account that months have passed by between the start of Season 1 and the start of Season 2.

Thanks. I was mostly curious about Donnie, though since he said his Bo-staff was about 6 feet and he's not that much shorter than the staff. He also seems to be around Casey's height most eps with them together. I actually was thinking maybe about 5'9 or so.

Thanks for the info.

Mikey looks like he's about April's height. Leo's taller than April. Raph looks to be slightly bigger than April.
