I think this is definitely something that splinter tells the boys to show them their significance, that they have an important role in the world. It would also be a missed opportunity not to use this as part of the mythology.

I really like how much effort has been put into this, and the turtles themselves.

probably gonna be ancient turtle warriors like the scroll on the wall (that used to fight utroms) and sachs and aprils dad tried to re create those turtles with some ooze ... which will probably lead to sachs being a utrom himself...

Nobody's horrified by Boobs.

Except that one scene in The Shining, and that other scene in that other movie where Kathy Bates decided to see how many people she could make vomit on command.

Other than that, nobody's horrified by Boobs. Boobs are Awesome.

well i do have a friend who on my 21st bday asked how long we were staying at the strip club cause and i quote "He could only look at boobs for so long"

the more i think about it, the more i am digging the idea of Splinter telling the young turtle these stories. it fits the mold that he's really trying to shape them into something more.

Well, I WAS gonna make an "in-the-closet" joke about Boston's buddy, but I was 80% sure you could get arrested for that nowadays.
