Yeah that might happen. Not sure if he will be telling it to them as more of a fictitious folk story with a life lesson, or if the movie will have supernatural type stuff like the IDW series.

But Splinter might just refer to shredder as a demon so the little kid turtles know that he's a bad, bad man lol

At 1:15 there's a woman holding a baby. Maybe that's tang shen and karai and promo #3 could elaborate on that??

funny enough, CBM TRAILERS posted it on their YouTube page, titling it #2, but Paramount International, the original source, only has ONE vid posted.

i think CBM, got it wrong. they have a habit of ripping other peoples vids, and re-releasing them, like they have exclusive content.

thats supposed to be fudel japan though...timeline wise it wouldnt work the baby being karai

Yeah, I could see it being more told to them by Splinter as maybe helping to instill a sense of purpose and reason for existing. Would personally prefer that they themselves however are normal mortal beings.

Oroku Saki could be a direct descendant of the Shredder like figure from the Promo. and his Armor in the movie is a way to honor his family's heritage.
