Nick TMNT panel at SDCC 2014

We were promised a big Season 3 reveal. Instead we just got scenes from Season 2 episodes that should have aired by now.

Bebop and Rocksteady have never been officially revealed. Their designs were leaked by Playmates and deleted, I have no idea why Nick didn't do a proper reveal to the public.

And if the Triceratons are going to be a major part of next season, we should have seen them.

They said that there would be info about Season 3. What info did we get? The Season 2 finale clips don't count for Season 3.

Nick/Ciro/etc. never said anything about Season 3 would be revealed. The description of the panel said nothing about Season 3. Where are you pulling this from?

I wasn't there but it sounds like there clips of S3 shown (Creep, Napoleon) to go along with the character sketches.

Very disappointed. Especially since the early Season 3 eps are likely completed already since they were intended to be ready by Sept or October

I thought they said that they didn't want to show much....and that they were saving most of the stuff for the New York convention?

Yeah, those two are my favorite episodes. Ever.

I'm sure there is going to be more development for Raph and Mikey coming up. Donnie's character is generally not all that developed in the other incarnations and he had was more developed then the other Turtles in season 1.

Season two yes Donnie has been getting more development, but Leo also has been developed in audition. And yes, while Raph has a key role as a protector in the Northamption arc, Particularly with getting everyone out of the building before it explodes. Donnie more or less has becomes the defacto leader while Leo is suffering his doldrums. Just look at 2k3, Donnie looks after the team while Raph pulls Leo out of his funk. City Fall in the IDW Donnie leads and looks after the team while Leo is working for the Foot and continues to do so while Leo is trying to sort himself out.

The finally is going to have Mikey be trapped in Dimention X for a few months so there is some development.
Mondo Geko is showing up and he's a friend of Mikey's so more development. Then there is the whole vision quest so there will be some development four all four turtles.

And Raph is going to get some development as well such as that focus on his anger issues and how it ties to the crack in his plastron which is a start.

I hope with the vision quest they have an individual episode focused on each Turtle because often these vision quests have a group of heroes go their separate ways so they can find what they must learn as individuals before they can come together as team.

A similar plot line was done in the Tales of the Turtle Lair Comic on the Nick web site when they are earning the right to be called Ninja.

Leo's trial is he needs to learn to trust and listen to his brothers and his own heart.

Donnie's trial had a flash back where he feels like no matter what he does he feels like he can't keep up. So he needed to learn to use his ingenuity and resourcefulness to his advantage.

Raph had to learn to stop feeling like he's living in Leo's shadow and instead channel his anger.

Mikey's trial is to teach him how to focus, and what helps him survive his trial is a memory where Donnie is teaching him about how to bypass electronic locks.

I know Donnie steps up as leader a couple of times, it's just gonna get a little bit annoying since we've seen SO MUCH of Donnie this season. I can't wait for the Leo one-shot because Raph usually goes apeshit on Shredder's forces, and I can't wait for the Northampton part as well.

whether you were a fan of it or not, one of the biggest and best suprises this season was dogpounds mutation to rahzar because NOONE SAW IT COMING

it came in an episode no one thought would go anywhere and just be a filler. there had been no hints to it, outside of a toy line list of him, which we had no idea where he would come from, but not much else.

another thing that wouldve been shocking is karais mutation, had we not already had that email rumor.

some of the best moments of this show are when they completely catch you off guard, so im glad they didnt reveal too much,

I'm actually looking forward to the Donnie stuff and having him clash with Leo for a change. It's not very often that it happens. I also like the fact Donnie is being developed. I know some are complaining about Donnie taking Raph's role here, but how is it any different from the first movie? They changed some of the roles there. The Leo one-shot became the Raph one-shot. The movie in general was all about Raph. The 2k7 movie...all about Raph (and Leo). I just don't have a prob with the reimagining here.

I do agree, Mikey and Raph do need more development. Raph still have the anger issue thing that still hasn't been fully explained. I like that he's a hothead, but a softy at the same time. I'm positive, though, that Ciro has good things in store for both. I'm just going to wait and see what happens before judging.

I have no problem with Donnie/Leo conflict, a lot of us are just saying that Nick has a hard on for Donnie like the 2003 series did for Leo, but most of Donnie's episodes could've been replaced with an actual good episode developing Mikey and Raph.

I just wouldn't be surprised if they continue not to do That much with Mikey & Raph...they seem to like them in the background but playing off each other...in a way, kinda like this:

Man, I loved those two as a kid. lol. I liked how they played off of each other. Gotta love the crazy pilot. lol

That aside, I'm going to remain optimistic. I really do feel that they're going to get the development that they deserve.

This is the good thing about people running the show that know TMNT and their fans.

Ciro knows that Raph and Mikey will always have their pleather of fans, so those characters don't need that exposure, they'll always have a massive following.

Leo and Donnie have always been the two lower in fandom, they need a little help to get an audience following because they never had that "It" factor the other two had, so expose them in stories in arcs to get them that notoriety from fans and feel emotion for them.

I'm talking about new fans, new to the series and franchise. We don't count, we already have favorite turtles, our stance doesn't change that.

Realize that even with as little exposure Raph and Mikey have had, they have still garnered a big following of new fans from kids, just the more reason these arcs for Leo and Donnie to help them were dire.

Ciro I think deep down realized that and knew what he could do to help with trying to equalize the popularity of each turtle in this series.

This is how I feel about it. For me, this is the first medium I've been exposed to where Leo is a favorite character for me. I'm truly enjoying both Leo and Donnie for this incarnation.
