In the original comic the Utroms saved Splinter and explained their origins to him and the turtles. I think this could happen. And you guys?

Um, he's Kraang Prime. That's why he can talk in a normal voice. I think they could bring in the Utroms still, as you could say that all Kraang are clones of Kraang Prime (If I'm not mistaken, General Krang is cloning himself in the IDW Comics)

i think theyre referring to the kraaang with the eyepatch(?) down in the lair, i believe voiced by gilbert godfrey

now if I remember correctly, a few months back there were some storyboards, one of which was Karai asking Shredder about her real father, another was where Donnie and April kiss in a sorta woodsy area, assuming it was fan fair we kinda dismissed the whole thing, but with the whole Karai scene happening play by play as it was in the storyboard, and now this stuff with the Leo one shot vibe and going down to the old cabin and resting up after the beating they got, seems that that other storyboard might be legit to, or just a load of hogwash.

I saw the story board too. It's at Northampton and it's episode 301 I think.

I'm honestly not looking forward to that episode....

because if I remember, Ciro said Casey and April are attacked by that new creepy mutant (I think in episode 1 of season 3)....which obviously means it's going to be another love triangle episode.....

you can't have Casey and April without Donnie amirite!!

What about Raph? Why would it be a love triangle episode anyway? Logically, I couldn't see it. They are all friends first. If Leatherface grabs them, I'm sure all will be concerned and help them.

And this is why the triangle doesn't bother me, since it's so downplayed and all the parties involved are friends.

I think like the other story board it will happen maybe at the end of the first episode of season 3 if not somewhere nu. Because in the story board, Donnie doesn't have his purple mask any longer when he's essentially telling April goodbye. Which means it either gets stolen by Creap, destroyed in someway or he takes it off for whatever reason.

Is it strange, that I am more excited about the upcoming episodes and the next season more than the movie? This has got to be a rare moment within a franchise.

Eh the whole April Donnie thing dosen't bother me whatsoever, I think Donatello has more than enough human characteristics and qualitys for the whole "bestiality" idea to actually sound stupid, I view all the turtles like people because that's just how they are (without the whole being a human thing haha)

Not to mention that April is the biggest lead on and acts like nothing happens whenever she flirts with Donnie. The Karai/Leo love story brought conflict which is why it worked, not to mention Leo and Karai have usually had a special relationship rather than Karai with the other 3 turtles.

I'm getting sick of the love triangle, wasn't it resolved in Wormquake? Or did the writers forget that?

I don't care about the love triangle. It doesn't bother me, and it seems like it was resolved in Wormquake, which is why Donnie is trying to accept that in the storyboard. While it will happen, I think it happens either before he goes on his vision quest or maybe it is his vision quest.

And, Warhorse, you are definitely not alone. I even said to my mom yesterday that I'm more excited about the show than the movie. I showed her the snippets of what we got at Comic Con with those gifs, and she at first thought it was about the movie until I told her it was about the show and had nothing to do with the movie.

Meh, that's always been the case with me, than again maybe it's cuz they always seen so Raph focused no matter what.

I know Raph fans are annoyed with the shows being either Leo focused or Donnie and Leo but LOL.

I'm sick of the love triangle too, at first I was ok with it cuz I thought it'd allow Donnie to move on and have Casey x April happen but if they are going to keep dragging this on. That's what brought down the Legend of Korra seasons one and two for me, too much focus on love triangles.

I like the show much better when it's the brothers V.S evil plots, meh.

Hopefully season three won't be on it that much. Course I'd have rather had April stay behind if they are doing this more next season.

I'm... equally excited for the film and show.

I'm excited for the show because it's a continuation of everything I know and love in regards to that version and the ideas they're previewing are so great.

I'm excited for the film because I'm really looking forward to seeing their interpretation of the franchise.

I suppose it'll be different for US fans because the movie comes first in August and then the show in September.

The UK doesn't get the film until mid October (IKR!) so for us, the season 2 finale going into the start of season 3, will arrive first. Well, online it will anyway I don't hold much hope for season 2 to actually be broadcast on our TV screens any time soon.
