The only way a yellow neck error could exist is if the torso were cast in yellow plastic and a paint application was missed, or the torso were cast in flesh plastic and a paint mask wasn't applied. I'm not sure what color plastic the figure was cast in.

As far as legitimate errors you might find:

Hair glued properly, eye and eyebrow tampos applied properly.
Good-looking figure with good likeness.

Versus...

Hair glued too high, eye tampos misplaced, eyebrow tampos misplaced.
Terrible likeness, figure doesn't look nearly as good as it should.

This is why you'll hear time and time again about a great sculpt being murdered by its paint job.
What a difference a couple of millimetres make.

Btw, you were kidding about the reverse knee joint Casey right?
I can now verify that from the best of my knowledge, all movie Aprils for 2014 have the same sculpt. I have a new April that is properly painted.

Nope, there really is a Casey with backwards elbow, he's in a small toy box/container of mine.

Nothing like quality control being so bad they **** up enough to make collectors think there's a variant.

I've seen the dumbest of mistakes make people think a Hot Wheels car is worth more than a properly assembled, painted, and packaged car.

I did not consider toy tie-ins. Silly me! Are there more figures or is this the complete set list?

I want a figure of Arnett and Elliott's characters!

Yes but the retail value of everything included in that auction is around $81 so you'd be paying a bit of a mark-up.

Just go to Wal-Mart, Target or (soon) Toys R Us.

Hi there! I have found a movie April variant!!!!

I happened to find her at two different stores this week and didn't even realize it was a variant until I got home.

I've posted some pics here, you can see the normal April has wavy hair, the variant has shorter and the ends aren't wavy.

I scoured the web and fleabay looking for any others that looked like this and I can't seem to find one. The packaging between both are identical, and everything else on the figure is the same.

Normal(left) and variant (right):

Wow, never saw that indeed. Wonder if it's an official variant, or something else.

That's cool! I wonder if the shorter hair might be a second production run that makes it easier to fit the camera bag around her shoulder. It's fairly difficult to shove it between all that long hair in the regular release.
