If it made sense, I would not mind it, I wouldn't want them to have casey be black for nothing. Like if there was an alternate version of casey that was black from a cartoon or comic series then I would be for it. Other wise it would be change just for the sake of change and forced. Imo.

Not a fan of the Turtles designs, Splinter learning ninjitsu from a book post mutation with no Hamato Yoshi, a "new" character in Eric Sacks who was to be Shredder, and then became a psudo-Baxter...and I'm sure there are more.

Welp, to be fair, if the movie was more faithful in regards to whatever you would then have people complaining about it being slavish to the source material that was used, or possibly. I do not mind the name oroku saki not being said, I do not mind that cause I know that that is shredder's real name. As for splinter learning from a book? I see nothing wrong with that, we folks learn stuff from books by observing them, it comes off as rational and realistic to me.

I don't have a problem with slight changes to characters like changing their job per example(April going from a scientist to a reporter) but I'm against the idea of making big changes such as their ethnic origins. There was no need to make Baxter white in the FW series. Hell, he had a completely different personality in the comics, so might as well just given him a different name in the cartoon since he was pretty much a completely different character.

That being said, changing Casey's or April's ethnicity is nothing compared to changing Shredder's or Splinter's(when he's human, that is). As bad as the movie might be(haven't watched it still) I was relieved when I heard that Shredder wasn't going to be white after all. In fact, I'm surprised there wasn't a bigger uproar about it and accusations of racism against the people behind the movie.

Now none of this would be racist if you didn't choose the ones with the poor qualities to represent the other races.

What you just said describing each race was racist. You actually see these races like that is racist. Everybody can be or do those things. Not a particular race. If they want to make Mikey voice Puerto Rican I say lest them. I know of course thatyou did this unintentionally but still this is not the right type of thinking. Pretty soon weare going to run out of races if we have that mindset.
