Making Michelangelo puerto rican means you believe in the stereotype that they are lazy and don't want to work.

Raphael being black is like saying all black people are angry and have criminal intent.

White Donnie is also insensitive 'cause you are specifically choosing the white race to represent someone who is academically superior.

Now none of this would be racist if you didn't choose the ones with the poor qualities to represent the other races.
What makes you think I had laziness, anger, & intelligence in mind, rather than personality, strength, & nerdiness? C'mon son.

Also imagine a tall black man interacting with Megan Fox in the sequel. They would work well together.

I could really careless on what race they make him as long as they don't make him a bumbling emasculated idiot for April O'Fox to make fun of, the actor can't be better than Megan Fox since it would look terrible. I could see them casting the very wooden Aaron Johnson.

I know people are already throwing in the Michael B Jordan as Casey Jones suggestion but why should he be everyone's go to African American actor? He's already been suggested as Apollo Creed's Grandson in the next Rocky movie, he's got Johnny Storm and now Casey Jones is up to bat.

How about John Boyega?

Yeah-no. You caused a stink about Bebop's race in the Nick forum when you thought he was going to be white and made a massive deal out of nothing and caused grief (when Bebop's race is totally irrelevant because he's been shown as white too in some media). Casey can be whatever colour, it doesn't matter. I don't get why there's even a thread about this. I doubt he'll be black in a sequel but if he is, I'd have no issue if he's well written and acted. Just, you can't really make a massive deal out of this when you almost blew a gasket because you assumed Bebop would be white in the Nick series, which he wasn't.

Michael Jai White could be Casey, but would people confuse him with his character from Secret of the Ooze?

People would complain about him being a "racist stereotype"
Some street thug black dude. lol. Even if he was the exact same character as white Casey, with the only change being in skin color.
The only reason I'd be against having a black dude as Casey is because I want to see casey with shoulder length black hair.

It's obvious why Cubed made this thread. Everything that comes out of his mouth is ridiculous.

That being said. Enough with the race baiting " everything is racist " ********. Take that **** somewhere else. Holding a different race at a different standard IS racist. I'm a little tired of people always pointing their finger at everything calling everything racist. There is MORE to life than skin color. When you watch MSNBC all day and see EVERYTHING threw a racial lens then that is what you are going to see. You are not helping anyone either. Esp with all of the double standards lately with this whole debate. It has no place here in this TMNT forum. Just keeping people angry and divided and that is something some people want.

Can we move on please.

Now if Cybercubed suggested if they race change someone like April to black. I wouldn't care 'cause April breaks away from any racial stereotype because she is a strong, intellectual, independent....black woman. That don't need no man.
What about Casey's character feed negative black stereotypes? You seem to be making assumptions. Nothing about Casey would necessarily change if you changed the amount of melanin in his skin.

And why is April filling what could be considered a "positive stereotype" any better?

I am not making assumptions. It is racist. The reason for Cybercubed suggestion is because a personality that is angry and poor fits the black people more then white. He wants to change the ethnicity so it fits racial stereotyping.

There is no such thing as a positive stereotype. I said it right in my comment why it was positive. April is a character that has excellent skills in computers and is strong willed, none of these traits are negative. Thus April breaks away from any stereotype which makes her a good character.

Cybercubed wants to change the ethnicity of characters to fit racial stereotypes, which is insensitive and offensive. I can't believe a mod is defending a offensive and insensitive suggestion.

.....Exactly. It's all assumption. It seems deliberate also. Me personally.. I cant stand this PC world we live in now were we all have to walk on egg shells. Even calling someone a " racist"
imo is the worst thing you could call someone. There is so much more to life than skin color.
I don't see ANY character traits with Casey that could be seen as " Black Stereotypes". That is absolutely ridiculous. Its reaching.

You know.. it's people like you that keep people angry and divided. Why walk threw life seeing everything as being offensive and " racist"? But someone ALWAYS has to make EVERYTHING about race. RACE RACE RACE. Who cares.
If you are someone that is constantly accusing people of being racist and sees EVERYTHING threw a racial lens then that tells me more about you then it does about anything else.

Geez man. You know, I think it's worth pointing out that only you seem to have noticed how "racist" this is. You're the only one who seems to have made the connection between Casey's general angry attitude and "black guy". That connection just seems really forced to me.
