Honestly I don't think it's a long shot at all, since it would be a super easy paint variation for Playmates to create.

The only real problem: would they re-release Raphael with a brighter shade of red, or the same red, or not re-release him at all?

Most likely it would be done as a four-pack exclusive, or two exclusive two-packs.

So the comic figures don't have painted weapons, most likely same articulation as the B/W Raph and the paint job isn't very good, that plastron is extremely yellow compared to the darker green skin tone.

Ugh, maybe they look better in-person... Maybe.

AW YEAH! In-box shot! Tiger Claw! *Mikey dance* Kitty-kitty-kit-ty! lol

But yeah I've been waiting for TC to add to my collection since I found out about it. Really like him on the show. I could never tell if he's gonna have that jet pack on his back though. (hope so) I was also hoping he had that machete too. (would've been awesome) ..but knowing Playmates I was just hoping they didn't just scrap the accessories altogether or some other bs, but anyway I'm glad he's at least got the pistols, they look pretty cool. The Foot soldier looks good too I must say. "Meh" on the comic turtles, I'll probably pick 'em up anyway, but "meh"...it was a nice idea though.

@sanityattack thanks for the pic post.

SN: for those of you guys that have/like/appreciate the new turtle blimp, I must say it felt pretty good to get it and get it all set up and what not. I really like it. The molded wheels are a turn-off though, but it's very cool. I never had the original as a kid I knew my parents were only gonna make one big purchase for me 'cause they'd gotten me quite a few figures and other accessories and I was in a store (can't remember which) that had a blimp and a technodrome and my folks were like "pick one" so.......

I have to wonder if these Mirage TMNT figures being included in the line aren't for the Nick Toon TMNT meeting them.
This just seems really odd oh and I saw a commercial with Tiger Claw and it looks like his good eye is now just white instead of being painted.
But we will see how much they take away from him in the final product.

Not really fond of the shade of green they used on the Mirage Turtles, but I'll still pick them up as soon as they drop. I've been wanting an affordable alternative to the NECA TMNT figures for ages. I'm still kicking myself over not ordering a set when they were new.

Dude, just buy the bootlegs. The quality is great & so are the prices.

Are the sellers typically on the level? I've always just been leery of bootleg products.

It would;ve been cool to see the comic turtles appear in the new cartoon but mirage Raph was sort off seen when Casey was drawing the picture.

Received my retro turtles and krang from TRU. The packaging was horrible. The box was to small so they bent up the packaging to fit it in the box. Another set on the way. Buyers beware

I think the 2014 turtles figures are probably one of the best lines of the turtles figures we've ever had. They're all very similar to their cartoon appearances etc. I'm not a collector myself, but my nephew has them and I keep looking at them with admiration. Although I have to say, the fact they're still lacking a Karai is baffling to me. I know mutants may be a selling point, but the amount of kids I've seen have all said they want a Karai figure, even my nephew who plays with April probably more than the likes of Cockroach or even Baxter Stockman.

I think I'll just end up picking myself up a Donny :/

These aren't great enough to warrant all four being purchased.
