I will totally accept that the reason he said tempura is because he is craving normal food at this point.

I'll accept any excuse......just please don't develop him only to have him be exactly the same mentally.

I didn't want to say anything, but I was thinking the same thing, that Mikey is going to continue being the dumb one. If there is a chance for the Turtles to develop their characters, it's going to be the Leo arc. Lets hope the show don't let some of us down (I mean, Mikey and Raph fans)

That's another thing, though: they didn't focus on the finale whatsoever, not to mention the Leo arc.

What I'm about to say may sound disappointing, but it just may happen:
I don't think this Leo one-shot is gonna be what we're hoping for. I know Ciro loves the story, but I think it's going to be very fast, and I actually think it's going to end on a cliffhanger with the final shot of the finale being Leo thrown through the window.

1. Yup, that's the reference! They also used it in the Mirage Comics.

Evolving? Into what? That's kind of a vague description and can mean anything. Last time I heard someone being reference into evolving, it was in this.

But either way, eh, Mikey evolving into something like Sid 6.7 might not be a bad idea for an episode. Hey, we had an episode back in the 80's toon where it was Leo who got his brain fried into being carefree and lack luster, maybe they will have an episode like that for Mikey, but instead he gets all serious and not so light hearted.

Mikey definitely has evolved. It's not the development that we've hoped for, but it's something. Put it to you this way; re-watch the first 10-11ish episodes of the first season, and you'll see very clearly that Mikey isn't as stupid as he was in those episodes.
