Ah well, to each their own. I just thought it was brilliant because it was totally unexpected and out of nowhere.

They should've been separate characters.

There's a chance they might pull the Harry Potter Mad Eye Moody in the Goblet of Fire trick, which I hope they do.

Eh, I'm fine with the plot twist. It didn't have much foreshadowing (though there was some) and it's weird she never quite acted like she was secretly an alien but I think Irma was pretty a pretty pointless character in this show anyway, so it might have been for the best to not shoehorn her into the main cast just because she's recognisable.

Maybe for you, but not for fans who wish April did have a female buddy who wasn't originally trying to kill her.

Anyone think there might have been a real Irma? Maybe she really existed and then was kidnapped and replaced by a Kraang.

For example the Irma captured by Rat King seemed like a real girl to me. If it was a Kraang why didn't she bust out of that cage Rat King had her in?

Let's hope it's just a robot designed as Irma, and the real Irma is still a human. Remember the "Turtle Terminator" episode of the 1987 show.

Remember when the Rat King caught Irma in the 2012 show. A Kraang inside a robot would probably break free.

That's what a lot of us are saying/hoping for. Many of us liked the character and did not want this to happen. Either way though, April hiding Irma from the Turtles or vice versa for so long ended up biting her in the ass no matter what.

I never get a sense that they were friends. If anything, it feels like she hung out with her cause there were literally no one else that would.

That could be an interesting twist. Have April actually be friends with Irma, and then later in season three she encounters Irma and thinks this this is Kraang Subprime pretending to be Irma again. Only to realize that Irma truely is Irma this time. And then Irma reveals that the Kraang captured her in Wrath of Tiger Claw because it's only after that episode that Irma starts asking April about her "Secret Friends".

After this episode airs on television meaning we can talk more freely about it I would like to take a poll to see if people want Irma, the human to show up or leave it as it is as of The Invasion.

On a side note, both seasons end with Shredder allying with Kraang Prime to invade New York City. It cant happen a third straight finale. I hope not atleast so it won't be repetitive

I'm almost positive that she will come back base on fan's positive feedback, just give it time. The only question is if there is a real Irma then what is she really like? (Fingers cross that she's a high school teacher. >_<)

Spoiler:
Kraang Subprime was the real Irma. Greatest Kraang spy in all of Dimension X, indeed. Evaded detection by April. Took the job serious enough to imperil himself several times in the name of building rapport and trust with April. For all intents and purposes, as a spy he was as real as any human.

That's why we liked the character (the fashion design and Kate Micucci's voice acting just made her that much better). To make a "real" Irma now would take away from how great of a set-up Subprime was. It works, and it makes Irma so much more relevant to the story than she otherwise would be.

I couldn't agree more. Well said, Toad.

I'm willing to bet the real Irma actually exists, and the Kraang replaced her with an undercover Kraang because they knew she was friends with April.

Look on the bright side at least she didn't become a mutant like Mona Lisa people were speculating.

I am actually glad for that, too many people were becoming mutants anyway.

Edit: And I like Toad's way of saying it. Even though I liked Irma, I like the Kraang twist. Kraang Subprime indeed, the greatest spy in Dimension X!
