Then again his primary weapon (at least for the beginning of Season 3) is going to be bow and arrow, with his swords tucked in as backup. I wonder who will be wielding the new weapons for the other three though, or maybe each turtle wield it themselves?

Had no idea Leo was going to use a bow and arrow. Sounds interesting. I'm also hoping he'll forge his own swords. Glad we only have a short wait until the season 3 premiere. I tried to be good and wait for the Invasion finale to air on TV so I'd only have a week to wait, but I just couldn't do it.

I wonder how Leo's going to fight with the Bowen Arrow and his swords? I can predict him shooting a sword with his Bowen Arrow at some point

Bow and arrow are long range weapons, they are only practical for stealth attacks from a distance. The swords are still needed for close-combat.

I don't think you can shoot a sword using a bow, it's too heavy it won't get far and the accuracy will be way off. If you held an arrow before you will know that is feather-light. It is probably more effective to just throw a sword by hand than to use a bow.

But then again, Leo believes that "ninjas never throw their weapons", which he did in The Invasion, not once, but TWICE! Isn't that ironic? However I couldn't get myself to laugh at that scene as it was too serious with Leo's situation back then.

People just don't like the Irma bot, it was a stupid and horrible move on the writers parts, and they will probably going to have to fix that in season 3 somewhere. People are simply going to not accept that Irma was a Kraang the whole time. She was too human in Rats and Men, and like Victory Angel said, it would make more sense that the real Irma was kidnapped during Wrath of Tiger Claw. Like it or not, people in the majority hate this plot, and the writers owe to the loyal watchers to fix it, make it right.

I don't know about fighting, but the Turtles have been depicted with bow and arrows before.

Soooo, when will we get the first official teaser of the new season? I want to see what they look like with the new full head bandanas that were in that book. Will they be a permanent fixture, or just temporary?

They may post it online early like they've been doing, and if so, that's fine with me even if I have to wait until it airs on TV. It would be different if they were going on hiatus, but they aren't, and that's probably because of how they had a hiatus in August. Again, I'm cool with that and can't wait to see what else this show has in store for us.

I really need to exercise self-control and watch these when I get them on my amazon instant video! I just couldn't resist watching the finale on Nick.com though. I'm hoping we'll get to see a brief teaser for season 3 at the end of Invasion when it airs on TV.

Those of you who are going to NYCC have twice as much fun for me while you're at it. Maybe I'll do the CC thing one of these years when I can afford it. Glad we usually get to see videos containing the entire panel. I probably shouldn't peak ahead so I'll be surprised later on, but it's Turtle stuff and I never could resist that.

He's thinking why the hell won't people just shut up and wait to see if there's anymore of an explanation to the whole Irma thing, before people condemn him! It's really ticking me off how people are so quick to jump all over Ciro and the other writers before they even have a chance to explain what they're thinking.

People seem to keep forgetting that the whole crew working on this series are as much of a turtle fan as the rest of us!
