I actually find it MUCH easier to fit in handheld time as an adult. Bed time is pretty much my only free time most nights, so breaking out a DS and playing some Smash is going to be a god send.

This, for sure. Work breaks, traveling, & bathroom trips will have me putting way more hours into the portable one.

For me portable gaming is also done mostly at home, usually when I watch TV, so I usually like Puzzle games or something you don't need to pay a lot of attention to the action. I don't game on a portable outside, frankly I'd feel embarrassed doing it at school and prefer to be doing something different while I"m at school. It'd be great to do while commuting but it really isn't safe for me to commute with a 3DS unless I want it stolen. And in general if I'm outside I'm doing something and don't have time to be bringing my portable gaming console unless its a geek event.

What are the plenty of reasons? We're not saying its not appealing for some to have a portable Smash but for the average person one "version" of this Smash is enough since there aren't enough reasons to own both. I just don't see anything for me since its just a portable version of the console version and not a portable Smash with something I can't get in the console version.

The Wii-U version only comes out a little over a month after the 3DS version, its not really that long to wait. Getting a "heads start" means little.

LOL, bathroom breaks lol, so I am not the only person to play 3DS on the dumper.

I am counting the days down, and I have not felt this stong about a game since Zelda on the Wii.

I think we all know why CyberCubed doesn't want the 3DS version:

He doesn't want to get trounced by Netkeeper. :V

It's because his monthly welfare budget won't allow him to get both.

Yo why do so many people play while pooping? You're already pooping. That's way more entertaining than any game in existence!

Dude. My plenty of reasons was exactly everything that you cropped out of my post when you quoted it:

That's plenty a selling point to SSB fans. Character customization is a big part of this game. You can tweak the move sets of all the characters, and make your own mii fighters. And if you can't use it against your friends, it's worthless. Plus, everybody and their mom already has a 3DS. Plenty of people will get both.

I never got it, either. Like, just wiping is a full body experience. You gotta lean over and balance yourself and sh*t. I can't multitask while doing that.

Homie we went through 20 pages of two people whining about literally the same thing over and over again. If a natural daily occurrence is weirder than the fact that these folks are obviously legally insane, then I have no idea what to think anymore.

I used to play Game Boy on the toilet often when I was a kid. Eventually stopped doing it because I ended up getting distracted and spending a lot of time in the bathroom. I spent like 5 minutes pooping and 30 minutes playing on the GB.

If this is a legitimate concern I fear whatever it is you do when you use the washroom.
