There seems to be no arcs for the character unlike Leonardo or Donatello, no recent episodes to show him in a strong manner (like what you did for Mikey in the 'Michelangelo surviving on his own in Dimension X' episode), and it seems like the Raphael character not only has no direction, but also no purpose or importance. Even in action sequences as of late, he's been mostly absent and hasn't really Done anything worthwhile.

Is there a certain reason for that? Are there any certain arcs, or directions, or any important uses of the character that we will see for Raphael in the upcoming season or seasons? I ask only because some Raphael fans have been a bit disappointed with the usage & direction of his character as of late."

Or something to that effect.

Yeah, was wondering to. Maybe isolated but surely there's some country shop or something within reach. Even if the chickens appeared by magic, they still have to get the chicken feed, and other stuff for themselves, somewhere and it's been off season for growing anything.

Maybe the tribal frogs take care of them?

Pretty good episode. Seth Green did a great job as Leo.

I guess I'm still on an "Invasion"-induced high, but this episode was a little weak for me. For a season opener, it felt more than a little filler-y with the Mutant of the Week and all. And Leo's voice...omg. My sister who doesn't watch the show walked passed the tv and said, "eww, why does Leo sound 35?" Seth's voice is way too mature for a teenager. That will definitely take some getting used to.

Other things:
  • Donnie stop messing with mutagen!
  • Was it just me or did the background look unfinished?
  • So both April and Casey love their journals...
  • How did Donnie cure Raph, again? That whole sequence didn't make sense to me.
  • The Kraang were taken out of the opener. So Ciro wasn't lying about wrapping up the plot.

Decent episode, but nothing amazing. 7/10.

Did the old Raph die? Is this a brand new Raph made of mud, flowers and Leo vomit?

I love how all this time it's been don't let the mutagen touch you. Here, Leo, drink this. o.O

How did it not affect him if his barfing still resulted in a evil mutant. He's lucky his stomach contents didn't mutate beforehand... And make like that alien that busts out of someone.

I guess we're also using elements from the new movie now? Now the stuff is in their blood and can save/help them.

yea...like why the heck would Donnie even give that to Leo?? How does he know that wouldn't mess Leo up? It's not like he tired it on himself as far as I can tell.

I know it was just a device to make the Creep but...I think they could have done a little better than Leo barfing up a useless(potentially dangerous) mutagen medicine, which mutates the ground.

Annnyway, I enjoyed it mostly for all the Friday the 13th and Evil Dead references down to The Creep's overalls having a 'Voorhees' logo on the front. It was fun.

Pretty cool episode. So the intro (not the Invasion clips) was one big reference to the first movie right? The farmhouse, the tub, the broken-down truck, the drawings in April's journal.

You guys are right about the mutagen medicine. Doesn't make sense Don could suddenly make it safe in a new thrown together lab.

Its definitely noticeable Leo's voice changed but they said its because he's hurt. I wonder if they plan to have Seth do a more Biggs-style Leo afterwards. I kinda hope not. He sounds cool. People just got used to the first voice because it started that way.

leos voice will take a little, but i think itll be good. this episode he was sounding weak most of the time, so i think once h heals itll be better. we got a slight bit of the range that he'll have, and 10 times more inflection than dom ever had.

episode was decent. raph to plant? ok haha, i get the whole mutagen thing, but did raph have to become a plant.

loved donnies comments in this one

seeing april fight is always cool, and her skills are progressing.

in the opening, 2 things. 1 no kraang. 2 giant ballon thing during the last shot. any ideas?

Assuming Turtle Blimp. Ohh, missed the Kraang though.

Kinda surprised Karai is still reflected in Shredder's mask.

About to watch it...

Season Pass is only $19.99 this time due to the shortened 13 episode season. Worth it for me. Hope next season is longer but I don't mind so much as long as the show has a long life.

Haven't each of the "season passes" only been for half seasons?
