Well, Coola, Ciro confirmed Kraang Prime was male right before the Season 1 finale eps aired back in 2013. He is the CREATOR and you cannot argue with CREATOR.

Still not seeing it. If so he needs to do a better job at making it clear it's male. Also not seeing KP as 'the Krang'. If anything if KP was destroyed and KSP took over you'd be bouncing all over the place calling KSP 'the Krang' and claiming you knew it all along.

Why is that an issue? Female voice actors voice male characters all the time, like Bart from Simpsons and a dozen anime characters.

Well, to be fair, how many of those women are voicing adult non-feminine male characters; and Roseanne Barr voicing a male Kraang sounds like Roseanne Barr, not Roseanne Barr clearly putting on some other voice to try to avoid sounding female.

'Course, for all we know maybe the Kraang are like animals that can change gender.

That's true, and Kevin from Ed, Edd, n Eddy is also voiced by a woman. But the difference is that Kraang Prime SOUNDS like a woman (to me, at least). And I'm not saying that's an issue...I've just always interpreted Kraang Prime as a female. If Ciro said it's male, then fine. It's male. But I'll always consider it female because that was my first impression. Just like Terk from Tarzan was voiced by a chick (Rosie O'Donnell), and was supposed to be a girl, but I always thought of Terk as a boy - and still do.

Doesn't count. If it was so obvious that Bart was voiced by a woman, it wouldn't be such a big 'did you know???' thing, now would it? The woman is obvious going for the voice of a 10 year old boy and does such a good job, people are surprised to find out a woman is voicing him. Plus, you know, Bart is actually a boy.

KP is voiced like Roseanne and sounds like Roseanne. And I'm sorry, but I can't see that big evil toothy smile without thinking of some similar evil woman like Ursula or Cruela DeVill smiling.

Agreed. And as you've said, KP comes off as so much better being considered female. We don't often get to have female villains, and when we do get those, they often portrayed as pinup models with their boobies half hanging out. KP isn't ending up a Mary Sue any time soon, and wouldn't likely be a character that is seen through the lens of her femaleness. As such, KP as female would be perfect.

Arguing with a creator that either greatly exaggerates thing or changes his story every other month isn't exactly the hardest thing to do. KP even looks female.

Considering that we don't have a whole lot of evidence of which gender Kraang Prime is, the VA is female, and the Kraang seem to operate on a Hive Mind with the big bad being the "queen", I'd have to say female.
