Seriously, every episode has to be "SERIOUZ BIZNIS" or else you people will skip it. Can't you just enjoy a fun episode?

I mean, I understand people getting annoyed with the love triangle, but its not like its the focus of every single episode. It's usually shown in a brief, 1-2 line moment or big moments at the end. It's never in the forefront.

It only bugged me when it was inconsistant. For example, I don't mind Casey and Donnie going at each other, but when Wormquake has them make up, I don't expect them to be still doing it.

But hey, thats how things go in real life. When someone stops, it'll surely get started again.

Well, I don't know about Baby, but I personally never cared for the Frogs in the OT, so I don't expect to like them much here either. I may be a fan of the Turtles, but I don't like every little thing that has to do with them. I'm not a fan of the Frogs, Renet or the Fugitoid. I'm really not a fan of Baxter Stockman either. When he's on screen, either be it the 80's toon, 2k3 or this one, he just bores me. When reading descriptions of episodes, if I find that Baxter will be apart of it, I tend to just do something else, and will catch that episode when I go through one of my binges.

Now, while I am not a fan of Mondo Gecko, I will definitely be looking forward to his episode, because Robbie Rist is said to be voicing him, and he is my favorite Michelangelo voice actor ever! So, it's going to be a nolstolgia kick to hear him talk again.

Cause they look really dumb XD I don't know how they are gonna act (never saw the original versions) but their whole design pushes me away...They just look very obnoxious.....

and....no...I don't like episodes that are just there for comedy I admit. I love comedy in episodes....but the episode has to be going somewhere...

but that's me, if you enjoy those kinda episodes then you keep on enjoying them

Maaybe the frogs were a little cheesy in the OT, but they do have potential as characters. Either as an anti-tmnt, or allies.

But I really do like fun episodes (Excluding Pizzaface) as long as they have some serious episodes to stand along with them. Avatar:TLA did a really good job at this.

Now, granted, the only thing I actually liked about the Frogs, is that they happened to be from my home state. It's silly, but when you're a kid, and something like the Ninja Turtles has ties to your home in some way, it's intriguing. I was hoping the Turtles would come down here and visit. But in this version, it's obviosly not going to be the case.

Avatar the last airbender always had a point in their episodes (at least a vast majority of them)....whether it was to improve a character or to improve the story, that's why that cartoon is so awesome.

and they had VERY VERY good continuity, they didn't let their characters regress or forget something.

that's what TMNT is missing in my opinion.

Trust me, I'd love TLA-level continuity. That show was the best cartoon that ever aired.

I think the only episode that didn't have a point was The Great Divide.

yea...Avatar kinda set the standard too high.

Young Justice was pretty good at continuity also...

if TMNT can just see the importance of that...then I'm sure even the fun-only episodes would be amazing (for me)

The Punk frogs episode will be interesting, apparently looks like Mikey runs away cos he carrying a Bindle stick ( A collection of belongings wrapped in cloth and tied around a stick)



I wonder if Mikey had an arguement with the others because maybe he want's to return to New York and find Splinter or they are blaming him over the lost, spilled mutagen.

I get what your saying. I lived in NY my whole live so when I visit the city and go to the East Village I always get a big cheesy smile and say to my friends that the Turtles live somewhere under our feet. (I think it was confirmed they live somewhere in the sewers under Bleeker street? *shrug* If someone could tell me that'd be cool.)

I guess a ton of superheros live in NYC...>.>


But yea, Punk frogs were annoying. Their voices are annoying, their clothes were ridiculous, and they were so naive it was painful. When I try to remember them all I remember is that one that kept saying "RaaAAaaaAAaaAAaaasssputn!"
I have faith that they'll make them funny.

Definitely agree with what you're saying but I don't think tmnt has really been lacking that much. Just think about season 2, we had 3 karai based episode right in a row following a story, and then after she was mutated, they spent the remainder of episode at least in some part looking for her and while shredder was gone, karai kept referencing it. When April got mad at them, it was brought up consecutively, and in season 3, leos injuries are carrying through. The only thing they don't really do is reference a previous weeks new mutant, like after sir Malachi showed up they didn't bring him up again, but I don't necessarily mind that

That episode wasn't really pointless but it wasn't really needed. I think the point of it was that it was saying disputes based on the past events are stupid and that shouldn't stop you from learning to work together.

Essentially the entire episode had a Roshomon plot.
