Awesome to hear that new eps start on November seventh. Not too long of a wait then, and I love the names of the episodes, too. Looks like we're going to get Speed Demon Donnie first, then Dream Beavers, and then the Punk Frogs. Can't wait.

Love the name for the punk frogs episode

Hmm... three episodes in a row which we already sort of see them coming due to concept arts and teasers from SDCC/NYCC, can't wait! Luckily it's only a 2-week break and not a longer hiatus!

This leaves the vision quest episode as the only one we've known for the first half of Season 3, as Muckman/Joe Eyeball and Mondo Gecko will only show up on episode 15 and 17 respectively. And I believe Hun's debut and B&R's mutation will happen even later when they return to the city. Renet's debut could be any time though, wonder if they're still in the woods or have returned to the city.

CIRO NIELI: It’s definitely the return to New York. Not just how do we get into the city, but how do we beat the Shredder? And don’t forget the city’s been mutated into Lovecraftian, slimy tentacle head things, so that’s a lot of work for Donatello and everybody. There’s a lot to handle. Sneaking into the city is the first task at hand and we deal with that quite a bit. Finding a new lair is something they’ll have to deal with, because they’re cover has been totally blown at this point. It’s a very thick season, and it’s going to be fun.

Very happy to know that Return to New York is going to be a major focus in the second half of Season 3, hopefully it gets executed even better than 4Kids' 3-parter. Though I'm a little disappointed that the old lair cannot be reused, which means we may never get to see Leo and Donnie's old rooms

But hey, new lair! I wonder how will it be like, and will it be permanent (4Kids had like, 3 different lairs?)

I think episode 307 is where the turtles contact Splinter and we see whats happening in New York

I reckon episode 312 is the Spirit Quest episode.

Episode 313 and 314 is going to be a 2 part episode, last day at the farm house and they have a plan and they return to New York by the new Blimp. (obviously April Casey and ICK will return in the Van).

Funny that we are completely clueless of what's going to happen from 307 to 311 at this time. During this period last season, we got introduced to Slash, Casey Jones, Kurtzman, Fungus Humungous and Metalhead 2.0, and most of them were teased during SDCC 2013. This year, nothing. Everything that was disclosed in SDCC/NYCC 2014 either happens in early Season 3, or the second half of Season 3.

Also, I don't know why but I felt little a sad when I read your post to the point "last day at the farm house", they just arrived not long ago and are leaving so soon? I wonder if they will drop by again from time-to-time like they did in the 4Kids series. It's a really nice place to chill out, away from the city and all. Hopefully the T-Blimp makes travelling convenient enough for them to drop by when they just feel like it, and not abandoning the farm house after returning to the city, leaving it to deteriorate...

I'm sure they will return to the Farmhouse, like they did a few times in the 2K3 show for a rest and when they all got injured in the 3 part episode Exodus.

They will probably return to the farm house at the beginning of season 4, to heal Raph mentally due to the damage caused by the brainwashing.

Fans of Turtles in general, we get that some of the diehard fans would love just watching a serialized show full of canon every show and just hooking up seamlessly like Korra or something. But you know, we also have to understand that these shows should be able to be played out of order so that if you feel like just randomly watching TMNT, you can enjoy it. So I feel like the villains and the world too, the bigger it gets the harder that is to pull of in a clean and simple way.

Even though he starting realize how frustrating it's becoming to have the show be a certain in a way so that it can be watch out of order, he's still too stubborn to let the show have a flowing narrative.

And plus there the fact that he thought the whole thing with Karai was "distracting" when it actually one of the highlights of season 2.

It almost like this guy hates character development and tightly written story arcs and seem to view them as weaknesses in story telling.

Ciro, I don't know if your lurking but I telling you right now that you can't just keep hitting the reset button anymore. Especially at this point in the series. Either let it grow or reboot it and make a crappy flash version like the new Teen Titans that's being currently shown on cartoon network.

Well the Turtle's would have to risk going back to their old lair and salvaging their belongings.I mean yeah, both the Foot and the Kraang would look through there to try and find where the Turtles went off to or to see if the Turtles were hiding there. And maybe the EPF would have have looked into the place as well. All groups would have taken what they felt was useful, maybe destroyed what wasn't.

Remember when they were departing Donnie instructs Raph and Mikey to take only one thing that is meaningful because they had to travel lightly so that meant only things they could carry with them.

Mikey grabs a couple of Pizza's and Ice Cream kitty.
Raph grabs a picture of Spike
Donnie packs up his med kit and a few chemicals in his messenger bag and I think Donnie picking up Splinter's family photo was alluding to him taking it with them. Before he tells Timothy that they would be back one day. But if it turns out they are not he would more then likely thaw out within 70 or so years and hopefully the world will be a better place by then.

So if we see Donnie and Leo's old rooms it will be when they are cleaning them out and only if there is something that one of them is looking for in those rooms because there will need to be a reason for those sets to exist.

Good theory, but that means if their rooms do show up later, it would still be in a trashed state and not the usual habitable state when the turtles were still living there. It would be hard to tell which turtle keep their room the tidiest, for instance, since everyone's room would be a mess after the invasion.

Anyway, since a new lair is coming up, hopefully we'll get to see each of the turtles' new room this round.

I am particularly now getting a bit PO with him pointing out that Donnie is going to have his work cut out (what, so what's the point of the EPF? And what about his other brothers, are they chopped liver?) and then, Ciro says there is going to be more Casey and Donnie bonding time? Casey is supposed to be Raph's buddie, not Donnie. Donnie has April as it is for crying out loud. Look, I realize this dude has like a serious hard on for Donatello, but the way hes is setting everything up, why doesn't he just go ahead and have Leo, Raph and Mikey, along with Splinter and Karai, fall through a portal to another dimension, and then it can become the Donatello, April and Casey show. Fu$%^ck the rest of the characters and the fact that they might have fans too.

Kinda interested to see why Mikey runs away.

Since Bonafrog looks like a goof-up character, it seems they may have them both run away and bump into each other.

I doubt they play the "lack of believing in Mikey" card again so quickly. I think Mikey will really goof up back at the farmhouse and mess something up bad.

Possibly accidently reinjuring Leo or something.

The interviewer asked if Shredder's vendetta was enough to hold his alliance with the Krang steady, with the turtles still alive. Ciro says that the whole 'vendetta' is distracted by Karai's current state and Shredder's desire to reaffirm his hold on her.

He's directly referencing how Shredder will be affected by Karai's mutation, something directly correlating to the main plot. The same thing you are asking for.

@Vicky82 The pictures are pretty old, there for the TMNT Ninjas In Training 2 pack its a toy. I think they should make a episode about splinter were the turtles tell a story about when the turtles were kids remembering splinter before they find him, so we get to see the turtle tots. Anyone agree ??

Personally, having Casey bond with the other turtles or Donnie given that they're rivals too doesn't bother me so much, and Ciro didn't say that he was sidelining the others either. At this point though, Casey doesn't have the temper/anger thing going on that helped Raph and Casey bond like in previous incarnations, which helped the two truly understand one another. Casey is incredibly mellow so far, unless like you said in one of the other threads, that something happens that molds Casey into the character that we're all used of.

That aside, it's pretty obvious, imo, that Donnie will have a lot in store because he's the tech guy., which means finding a safe, undetectable way back into NYC without alerting the Kraang (which is why I feel the Buried Secrets ep was needed, as I feel the Kraang ship they found or components from it is going to become the new Turtle Blimp). He's also the only one who knows how to make retromutagen and the entire city has been Kraagafied, as I think Casey mentioned...so yeah. Why wouldn't Donnie have a lot in store for him? To be honest, I'm surprised they haven't written his character snapping yet.

It's this forum's environment. The majority of you are reactionary doom-and-gloom drama mongers on the level of teenage gossip girls.

I have plenty of criticisms of the show myself, I just rarely get the opportunity to voice them because nearly everyone else is doing all the complaining for me.
