For me, it's a yes and a no. It's interesting, especially when she uses this power she doesn't seem to have any real control over anyway. There's a pattern here with when her power is used or when it comes out. It also only seems to be effective against the actual Kraang or things connected to the Kraang, and when she's completely stressed out or in duress. So in this way, it is intriguing. She did "earn" the powers, sort of. She was experimented on.

If she saves the guys with some random psychic power isn't that unsatisfying?

It's not random, if you notice the pattern.

she's learning to be a kunoichi/ninja and seems to be getting pretty good at it..shouldn't we see her save the day with that skill instead? (I can only recall once she actually saved everyone with her ninja skills...and it was just a finishing blow.)

I'm glad she's not able to take out many people as a novice. She may be getting better, but no one is that good. The Turtles have been training for years. April, not as much. It's pretty realistic in that regard. I studied Aikido for a year...there was no way I would've been good enough to take somebody out. I also studied karate for a while. Bottom line, in a practice, okay. Real situation, I highly doubt it.

the boys don't have a cop out power, why should she?

Um, she was experimented on... how is that a "cop-out" power that seem to only be effective when the Kraang are involved? It's yet to happen or work against those like Karai and the Footbots. Only the Kraang.

Plus once the Kraang eventually get taken out, she'll likely lose that edge.

And even though this is still in the future, anybody have any speculation on how the Kraang plot eventually gets wrapped up?

If I had to take a guess? They'll probably kill off Kraang Prime.

What do they even mean by wrapping up the Kraang plot? Because it seems like they're going to be around for all of Season 3, especially since half this season is in Northampton before they even return to NYC.

These powers are also latent so she doesn't know what they are or why she has them. It's obvious the Kraang weren't expecting it either because of their reactions when they tried to drill into her brain and other moments. Otherwise they would have put measures in place to prevent such occurrences and as Ho Chan said she had barely tapped into her powers so there is obviously more. The sonic blast/scream is a reaction caused by her desire to survive and protect those that matter.


As for April's family bloodline being key that would be like finding a needle in the hay stack. My guess is April is a Neutrino but she is a new definition of a neutrino.

The Kraang have obviously been experimenting with humans for years trying to create a being that is essentially an adapter unit for their mutation plans. So there are likely other humans/Kraang hybids around and April is the one the Kraang currently know about.

We know the Neutrino's are a humanoid race from Dimension X, and they were against Krang. And the IDW the Neutrinos are a resistance group against Kraang.

So perhaps in this case Kala, Zakk, Dask, and Trib could be seemingly normal human teens who are part Kraang.

I don't think the Kraang were creating Neutrinos, they were trying to create a supreme being of themselves. Look, all they are is talking brains. They need robots and other machinery to help them become more mobile. Maybe they were trying to clone/mutate Kraang and Neutrinos so they could walk and have more mobility.

As much as I like the Neutrinos, I doubt we will see them in this series. Though I hope I am wrong and would love for April to be part Neutrino or a new definition for Neutrino.

I think he would just like to open the thread labeled Season 3 Official Thread and see actual information about Season 3 instead of the back and forth that has gone on for multiple pages. Maybe the opinions/rants should be moved to the Official Suggestions thread so this one doesn't continue he to get cluttered?

I'd absolutely love it if the Neutrinos were in the Nick show somehow. In the OT, they are probably my favorite minor recurring characters alongside Lotus. I don't care how they introduced and whether they're more Kraang/humans like April, or if they are telekinetic, or whatever everyone is thinking about on this thread. I'd just be grateful if they turned up at all.
